These are older condos, but very clean and comfortable. Be sure you check on the location within the complex, because some updgrades are worth it.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, lovely units but older
Cons: pool hours are too short
One stumbling block.....they contract the pool rights and the pool is only open until 6 p.m. We found that to be a little inconvenient, but otherwise it was a good place to stay.

a real nice vacation spot.

Pros: Free Internet
If you want a peaceful, low key hotel experience with great beach access this is the place. The vegetation and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The hotel staff were very attentive. We hope to be able to return to Castle Kiahuna Plantation in the future.

Please up grade beds...This was the best vacation ever...the staff was tops

Love the plantation but our room needed up-dating.

Pros: Close restaurants
The grounds and beach were fantastic. The staff was helpful. The condo had some problems. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of cement. With no air conditioning the fans are important however they did not work well and made a lot of noise.

This hotel was awesome!

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Walking into the room was way more than we expected. We had more than everything to make our stay very comfortable. The beach was wonderful and very very very close. Only hazard is the prices at the nearby mall, I recommend going to Walmart for anything you need. Other than that the stay was wonderful, beautiful beaches, beautiful evenings on the sand. Just about perfect!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
My husband and I just returned from a stay at the Kiahuna Plantations unit #180, and we couldn't have been happier with our condo and the resort itself! Our condo had been recently remodeled, and was beautiful inside and out; it was a good size for a one bedroom unit. It is a 2nd floor ocean view unit, with a great view from the huge lanai and within earshot of the sound of the waves. The walk to the beach was so short we didn't even need to wear shoes! The beach itself was lovely; we are "beach people" and didn't even go to the pool the whole time we were there (the pool is across the street from the complex and a bit of a walk.) It was a great beach for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and sunset-viewing every night. Housekeeping came each day while we were out to make beds, replace towels, and straighten up, which is unusual for a condo. Check in and check out were a breeze. The whole complex was so quiet day and night, which was perfect for us and our goal of relaxation; if you are looking for a lively vacation it may not be the place for you. We were a little worried about the lack of air conditioning but it was not an issue; the trade winds kept the condo comfortable and we never missed the A/C, even at the hottest time of the day. We didn't eat at either of the restaurants, so I can't comment on those. The only (and very minor) disappointment was the bed; it was quite soft and a little uncomfortable. But in all we had a wonderful vacation and hope to come back to Kauai soon; we will definitely stay at Kiahuna Plantation again and ask for unit 180. Mahalo!

OCEAN FRONT ROOM WAS STUNNING

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
MY WIFE AND I THOROUGHLY LOVED OUR OCEAN FRONT ROOM. WE WERE LULLED TO SLEEP EACH NIGHT BY THE ROLLING SURF JUST OUTSIDE THE UNITS SLIDING GLASS DOORS AND BALCONY FACING THE OCEAN. THE FACILITY IS EXTREMELY WELL MAINTAINED AND THE STAFF EXTREMELY HELPFUL. WE HAD A LOVELY STAY AND CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN.
