"We had a fabulous 4 days July 2nd to 6th with 4 teenagers. The house & back area to the lake is wonderful. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful location & yet, only an hour away from Montreal. Our hosts, Simona & her husband were extremely helpful, obliging, & considerate. It was a pleasure meeting them. There was a thunderstorm before our arrival that knocked out all power in the area. Simona contacted us immediately whilst we travelled to let us know what to do & reassure us it was returning soon. In the meantime, she ordered us courtesy food knowing we were on a long journey. So nice!Power returned within 30 minutes of our arrival & thankfully the rest of the vacation, we had wonderful weather. Simona gave us plenty of info regarding the area & things to do, places to go. Her husband even helped our kids have fun by taking them with paddleboads & kayaks to a part of the river where they could float downstream back to the lake. They loved it! The pool in the back (a large round above ground one) & the hot tub got lots of use! So did the supplied kayaks, paddle boat & boards by the lake dock. All amenities of a very beautiful house are there. Two delightful little towns closeby with food shopping, restaurants, ice cream etc. Evenings on the lake had wonderful sunsets & we took some lovely photos of the teenagers enjoying their time on the water. Middle of the lake was great for them to swim too. Lily pads flowering at the edges made for idyllic scenery. Would return for sure!"
