Lot of positives. Spacious rooms like a full size 1bed 2 ba condo. Amazing views from the balcony. Full size kitchen , dishwasher and W/D. Quiet and clean property. On the older side but well maintained. Staff was very nice and hospitable. Had a late check-in and the guard was available to help as front desk was closed. Some minor recommendations : better quality soap.fix the sliding doors as they dont slide very well.

The location and view is excellent. The rooms are dated. We were given a room that had a broken ac and they did not tell us ahead of time. I asked for aaa batteries when we checked in because the thermostat had the batteries removed. They told us they did not have any. We got batteries and put them in only to discover the ac would not come on. I called each day to see if it was going to be fixed. Our room got up to 80 degrees and we were given two extra fans. Upon check out we were told by an employee that they were not sure why they kept giving that room to people because the ac has not worked in quit while.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, and the property itself is quite nice. However, I found some aspects of my experience very frustrating. The security measures are excessive, requiring me to enter my room number every time I use the elevator, which feels inconvenient. Additionally, the staff at the front desk were quite unfriendly and unresponsive to my concerns. I was charged amenity and cleaning fees without any clear explanation as to why they are necessary—simply being told it’s because the property is a resort is not sufficient. These issues significantly impacted my stay, and unfortunately, they make me hesitant to return despite the hotel’s otherwise pleasant facilities.

There was noise from construction on the property we were not informed about before we arrived. It was so loud and shock our room for the whole time we were there...I complained to the office 😞

Do yourself a favor and book this hotel. I visited Kona fur my birthday . We stayed at Aston Kona for five days . The rooms were nice , quiet and clean . The view was breath taking. The staff’s service was top tier .

Noisy. They should have advertised construction noise on the website. Also, for the price we paid, the bed should have been comfortable. Instead it was a memory foam pad! That's stupid. The thing kept falling off the bed in the middle of the night. The people working there were friendly. It was not the best place to stay just because comfort should be the most important. Instead they cheaped out with crap for a bed. It was a one bedroom, so no other bed available! We won't be back to this place.

Parking was underground and very convenient to the elevator. The suite was large and very well cared for. Waves rolling in right in front of the lanai pool was very warm and never crowded. We will be back.
