We stayed from 1/27/24 to 2/2/24. On 1/31/24, we were at the beach with the children when I received multiple calls and texts from Maui Paradise Properties requesting to install a refrigerator that morning. I replied that I would prefer for them to wait until after we vacated the premises. I was informed that the fridge would be installed anyway. I replied that I thought this was inappropriate, and received the reply, "Mahalo for your understanding." We arrived home from the beach to discover multiple workers in the kitchen. All of our groceries had been removed from the fridge and the ice cream had melted. All the ice was thrown out. This was at the time we were trying to feed the toddlers lunch. The workers left, and a couple of hours later while the entire family was sleeping for an afternoon nap, someone from Maui Paradise Properties came to deliver a gift card and stood at the front door yelling, "Is anyone home?!?" repeatedly, awakening the toddlers from their nap.
In summary, maintenance was performed on the apartment on 1/31/24 which was highly disruptive to our stay. I contacted guest relations asking for a refund on that date and have not heard further.
