The room we stayed in faced the pool. I saw some reviews mentioning that the rooms are small, but I didn’t really find that to be an issue—especially considering that the whole point of staying here is to spend most of your time outside enjoying the property.
One thing to note is that the shower is somewhat exposed to whoever you’re sharing the room with, which could matter depending on your level of privacy.
The biggest drawback for me was the lack of a TV and mini fridge. It can get quite hot at times, and having a refrigerator available for guests would make a big difference—especially for keeping drinks or small items cold without having to constantly leave the room.
That said, the food was good, the staff was great, and the security team deserves special mention. They are very friendly and extremely attentive to what’s going on around the property. The owner of the property is also very helpful with arranging activities or things you may want to do in the area and makes sure you’re well taken care of as a guest.
Overall, the place feels very safe. The road leading to the hotel is also a nice bonus. There are several restaurants just a block away offering Thai, Indian, and traditional Costa Rican cuisine, plus a 24-hour shop on the corner that’s popular with tourists and reasonably priced.
There are ways to watch TV since the hotel offers Wi-Fi, but you’ll want to bring an iPad, lapto
