Active construction site

We were not notified that the property is an active construction site until we arrived, were entering the condo and saw a sign telling us it was an active construction site and there may be falling debris. My daughter was scarred to get in the elevator because it was covered in ram board and looked under construction. Our first step on our balcony, we saw three large lifts moving, beeping loudly, and scaffolding on the building next to us. What would’ve been our building’s pool had trash floating in it. They closed our building’s pool and boardwalk completely so we had to walk to the next building to go to the beach, still walking near large items being lifted up high. A man came into the unit while we were eating lunch to assemble a table, asking us where parts were. Two separate mornings men came on our balcony from the lifts. One time my child was on the balcony by himself. One time the man was playing music with cuss words and my son was inside. The work started as early as 6:20. Every morning we were woken by the sounds of saws, lifts or leaf blowers. My husband spent much of his time emailing and texting with the property host, and talking to people in the office. She only offered a 30% discount because we stayed and, according to her, enjoyed our vacation. This wasn’t our idea of enjoying a vacationing. We didn’t have other options unless we didn’t want a vacation! We felt deceived by the listing and not compensated fairly.

The condo is terrific. The property manager contacted us before the trip to let us know about balcony maintenance that had not been completed on time and we would not be able to use the balcony. We appreciated the transparency and decided to stay at the condo anyway. The lack of balcony - even though we knew about it - is the only reason we rated the accuracy of the listing as a 4. We couldn't really evaluate that part of the condo compared to the listing. Great location & we had a great time and will return.

Amazing view!

The condo was impressive - tastefully decorated, light and airy with everything we needed - we had 6 people staying and everyone had plenty of room. The ocean view was amazing from the expansive balcony. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing beach views with the comforts of home

We arrived the day before hurricane Debby, so unfortunately we had to stay inside for 2 days. The kitchen was well stocked with every kitchen appliance and utensils to prepare multiple meals, a day for our family of 6. The space was big enough to spread out and comfortable enough to sit together and play games that were available. The balcony was a huge selling point, plenty of seating and gorgeous views. The condo is located a 15 minute drive to all the cute shops and restaurants of historic downtown and 20 minutes from every modern convenience. This was our first trip to Amelia Island and I don’t think my wife would want to stay anywhere else. Thanks so much Michelle for the great communication and amazing space for our summer vacation!

Excellent impression. Beautiful view of the ocean. Handy pool access and just a short walk to the ocean. Internet was adequate. Excellent Master and two other sufficient bedrooms. Definitely would consider this property if we want to do another family vacation on Amelia Island.

Perfect stay during our family vacation!

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo was large enough for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The view of the ocean from the large balcony was outstanding! We really enjoyed walking to the Ritz next door for breakfast at Coast and shopping. The parking was gated and very convenient. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Views

The condo was recently renovated and was in excellent condition. The Master Suite was very nice and big and had a slider that you could leave partially open at night to hear the waves crashing. That was a nice way to fall asleep every night. The complex was very quiet, which was nice and peaceful. The beach was really nice a very wide so there is always plenty of space. There were at least 8 beach chairs that were all in good shape and it was a very short walk to get there. Michele was very responsive to any questions/concerns. Overall it was an excellent place to spend a month.

Beautiful clean condo in great location

This recently renovated beautiful 4th floor condo unit is in an ideal location. Amazing view of the ocean with a spacious outdoor balcony. Easy access to the spacious beach over a well maintained boardwalk. The three bedrooms/bathrooms were spaced so everyone had privacy. My 2 1/2 y/o grandson could play safely. Very clean, and I’m pretty much a clean freak. Michelle was friendly and readily available for any questions we had. I would highly recommend.

Great property but mixed experience

Wonderfully refurbished ocean front condo. Nicely equipped with everything our family needed. Unfortunately, our experience was interrupted twice - first by a false alarm in the middle of the night, then by a water main break that left us without water for our last day and night. Things happen but the property management company should make sure the exterior of the building and its infrastructure is as well maintained as the beautiful condo we rented.
