Stratford Inn
"This is a fairly old building near downtown which has been upgraded in many areas. I would call it quirky. There are some old furniture pieces in the rooms but beds, chairs and fixtures are updated. Parking and breakfast are free. Breakfast is "healthy". Basically it is either Oatmeal, yogurt or toast with a large selection of toppings (nuts, fruit, etc). If you are looking for bacon and eggs it's not here. We thought it was filling and tasty. The pool was nice, and warmer than the staff indicated. My only complaint was the heater/ac in the room as it was quite loud. Wifi was good, I was able to stream videos fine. In good weather you could walk to the downtown restaurants (loved Louie's) but a bit far if it's bad weather. Safeway is literally across the street. The lobby has a great huge book with menus of all the restaurants. Very helpful. Great staff."
