Although the cottage was close to downtown it was a quiet location. The furnishings were perfect and the abundance of windows/skylights made the space bright and cheery. We didn't want to leave.

California Cottage looks just like the photos. We enjoyed our stay. Nice outside covered patio with a grill we used one night. Well stocked kitchen. No oven and only a portable two burner induction cooktop, but it worked for us. We had a WiFi issue that the management company fixed and refunded one night. Really appreciated that. Jacksonville is a fun area to visit.

Great Cottage!!! Good location!!! Poor Communication

The cottage is as cozy as the pictures depict. This was my wife's and my first time in Jacksonville. The home had everything we needed, is close to downtown and we highly recommend you consider staying here. The one downside, the manager apparently uses just AI to communicate. When we had an issue, we could not get through to the manager using the phone number provided. When we attempted to get our answers using the Vrbo App, we only got automated responses and are question never got answered. The issue was not a big thing so the poor responses from the manager did not effect our trip. If you don't mind poor responses from the management, this house is great

The cottage was the perfect location (we have always loved Jacksonville, as well) from which to conduct our daily travels. It has all the house amenities one would want. Beautiful patio, as well.
