Location is amazing and has unparalleled views of the Tetons. Room itself needed a serious facelift. Bad was a Murphy bed and was very uncomfortable.. bathroom was very small and shower was outdated and didn't drain very well. amenities were okay, but hot tub was so small you could only get two people in it. Breakfast at The Granary was excellent with amazing views of the valley in the Tetons. Overall an amazing place, but needs serious updating 2 be classified as a 5 star resort

Would have been great except for one employee

I would have had a perfect experience at Spring Creek if not for one staff. Janette was awesome with booking and Shawn and Cheyenne who checked me in were very accommodating. I had been told on 2 occasions that the suite I booked included a living space. When I arrived we only had 2 bedrooms and a bath. I called and they told me that since no one was in the bottom half of our suite, they would allow us access to it. However, the next day the house keeper locked the door. When we stopped by the ranch house and spoke with Steve who was working the front desk. He said that we could not access it and would have to pay additional money for that space. My husband told him that they couldn’t tell us one thing and then change. Steve was a jerk and continued to try to keep the argument going with my husband even after it was settled and he had agreed to accommodate us. That ruined my evening and brought my overall experience from excellent to average. If you book the Harvest Moon 2 bedroom suite you need to know that it does not have a living area. Apparently a couple of the staff aren’t even aware of that since both times I called to confirm that I was given wrong information. Otherwise, the space was clean and comfortable and the views were beautiful.

Comment from Hotel Management

Thank you, Mrs. Damron, for your honest comments. We are certainly happy to hear that you enjoyed most of your stay and the staff that assisted with it. Although it is not customary to give additional rooms for free, I am glad that we were able to accommodate you and your husband. We did discover through this that the verbage on the Travelocity and other Expedia affiliates websites was misleading about our Suites which is most likely where the misunderstanding began. Our Harvest Dance Suites have EITHER two bedrooms connected by the bathroom OR one bedroom and one sitting room connected by the bathroom, but not both. We are making corrections to the verbage to hopefully eliminate future misunderstandings. We truly appreciate you staying with us and hope that we will have an opportunity to welcome you back to Spring Creek Ranch again in the future.

Beautiful view of the Tetons

Our room was minimal, but the others in our party had a very nicely decorated room.

Nice Location

Pros: Nice setting. The view of the mountains from the restaurant was magnificent. Cons: Room and restaurant both overpriced. The ant infestation on the bathroom sink was not pleasant.

Great accomdations and service

We stayed at the Spring Creek Ranch for a destination wedding. The staff was very friendly. The concierge took care of a trail ride for me. Our 2 bedroom suite offered everything we needed. However, a microwave would have been nice. The ranch is close to town and the ranch offers shuttle service so a car isn't necessary. We recommend Spring Creek Ranch.

A Bugseye View

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Nothing close, Noisy
The positives: The view is amazing and the rooms themselves are nicely sized with plenty off light. The pool and tennis courts are also very nice. At night, if you ask, they will build a fire for you in the fire pit outside the main building. There is also a stables on property, though we did not use it. The negatives: As soon as I walked in I knew the concept of hospitality is foreign at this resort. The staff is cold and relatively uncaring.. I was there with a large group of people (100+) and most complained about the unfriendly staff. I can deal with bad staff until I walked into my room. Outdated is being kind. The carpeting had many large stains. The caulk in the tub was falling out and the shower head did not work. Then I saw the bugs. Mostly moths, but spiders and their friends were also around. I killed what I could and notified the staff. They did come out to spray raid and left the can for me in case I needed it. Well, I think the spray just made the bugs mad. I could go on, but throughout my stay of 4 nights the bugs were around and the hotel was sold out, so no new room. Another disadvantage to the hotel is it is very spread out, so plan on walking. They will send a van to pick you up, but don't expect promptness. The restaurant is nowhere near the main building. It is called the Granary and the service is slow and the food is mediocre, though you can eat outside an admire the mountain view. Some of the buildings have first and second floors. they are not well insulated, so expect to hear your neighbor. Lastly, if you go in the summer, it does get hot during the day, however there is no air conditioning. Most people complained of how hot their rooms were. In my room, the only real ventilation was a back screen door that if left open would be an invitation for theft. Some people will appreciate the rustic feel of the resort with its cabins and outdoresiness, but the concept is not well executed and there are better choices. Some of our group stayed at the Best Western in town and were happy. One last thing, this is a drive to town, so you will need a car or they will shuttle you into town. I would not recommend using them to pick you up at the airport even though they provide the service as we know people who waited almost an hour for them to arrive. A cab will run you $40 or so + tip. Room Tip: Some rooms have 2 bedrooms and others don't. Make sure you ask about the size of the bed int he rooms. Some of them are very small.

Absolutely Wonderful!

We stayed at Spring Creek Ranch for the first time in February 2009......and then again in February 2010. I absolutely love Spring Creek Ranch. We stayed in a studio condo that had a full kitchen. The view was beautiful we had a fire every night made a snowman outside our back door cooked a couple of nights......it was heaven on earth! We would love it if we could go back there again in February 2011!
