Good place in Jackson

Good location. Clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was above normal continental, just busy. Cookies in the evening was a nice touch. Would stay again.

The staff was the “best”. Anything we needed was taken care of. Victor was quite accommodating and so very pleasant. He is a great representative for your hotel. If we ever come back to Jackson Hole we will definitely stay at Elk Country Inn!!

We had a great stay here. Very convenient location. Walkable to downtown. The breakfast here was really good. From the coffee to the breakfast sausages, every item was of a better quality than the normal hotel breakfasts. Rooms were very clean and there is free ice.

My kids loved the pool and the two hot tubs. The property was exceptionally clean, and the free breakfast was excellent. They offered a wide variety of options including eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, muffins, cereal, and more. My personal favorites were the Mexican hot chocolate and the potatoes. The location was also fantastic—just a short walk to downtown Jackson with plenty of dining and shopping options.

The beds were not comfortable and the mattress should be replaced. The breakfast area was too small and it’s hard to find a table to sit. Parking was also an issue and one night had to park in the nearby hotel. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was super clean.

My family of 4 reserved a deluxe cabin for the night of 7/30/2025 as it offers additional sofa bed. My wife as the seine person used showers , she noticed the water temp drop quickly and became very cold. And this caused a lot of hassles and frustrations in our first day of the trip. Checked with the front desk. The explanation is that the water heater for cabin is small and outdated and can not keep up with multiple persons shower needs. But neither the hotel or Expedia website disclosed to us at the time of booking or check-in. Eventually 3 out of 4 family had to use the shower room for the swim pool. Overall the staff has been very helpful trying to provide solutions. But as a business, they showed no intention of improving the facility and way of communication. I guess It is the peak season and the hotel just like many others in the area have very high occupancy. They may not even care about a few complaints about their facility. Hope this review can help future travelers selecting this place. One comment to add. If there is one big disadvantage of booking from a site like Expedia, there is a lack of accountability or sense of quality of service from the hotel as I observed. The hotels used to pass the bucket to the website.

The rooms are dated and expensive for what you get. The pictures are definitely glow ups. Feels more like a Super 8. Location was the leading perk. Staff were friendly. If possible request a second floor room! The rooms were not quiet and other room noise and walking above on the walkway. Parking was limited by the actual rooms and the cabins each got two spaces… No smart TV and TV was very small. The bathroom needed maintaining and fixing of cracks. We booked a traditional room but were not assigned to that room.

Nice place in a great location just a short walk from the center of Jackson. Real nice pool area and friendly staff. Negatives were that the breakfast area is real small and parking is very limited, which was kind of frustrating given the cost (I was told I may need to find a spot on the street at check in). The room itself was clean and comfortable, and while it could use some updates, has a cool western vibe.

Check out is at 11am. We went to breakfast and came back at 10am and the cleaning guy was in our room cleaning and had thrown out all of our food that we intended to eat today while traveling! We had not checked out and it was not checkout time yet so he shouldn’t have been in our room throwing away our things. Very disappointed.
