Tucked away. Nice rooms for a night. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel within easy walking distance. Parking may be an issue when in busier periods. Only roadside parking available. We were lucky with a space right outside.

Good for short stay

Staff was nice and friendly. Rooms were clean. However, they don’t speak English so you need to translate. Wifi did not work. Additionally, walls are very thin and we had problems with loud neighbors which made sleeping difficult :/

This is a modern, jewel of a hotel with a great location if you are departing Izmir airport early in the AM. We got a fantastic price and we’re very pleased with our stay. There is a restaurant on premises. Brand new, perfectly appointed, super clean room with a top notch bathroom and shower (which is very important for my wife). I hesitate to mention any downside, but to be real . . . Izmir is NOT a tourist hotspot, so catering to English speakers shouldn’t be expected. Our receptionist tried really hard and I respect his effort, but for honest feedback he should not have charged the extra 100 TL ($25 CAD) which we paid without argument, for a double occupancy. Staff in a more tourist savvy location would have waived the fee. That is the end of negative comments.

The service was great from the moment we arrived. From the furnishings in the room to the hardware in the bathroom they didn't go cheap on anything. It was a very comfortable room and bed, we wish we could have stayed a few more nights. We had to catch an early flight the next morning and yet they made us a nice breakfast before we left, long before their breakfast time was to begin. We would highly recommend the Luis Otel.
