First and foremost, The owner of the property threatened me verbally through my private number after I left a review on google. -The staff here is absolutely terrible. -It was difficult to find someone to greet us upon arrival. -Our sheets that were stained never got changed in 4 days even after complaining. -There was a half eaten icecream frozen in our fridge, that also never got cleaned even after complaing about it. -The wifi did not work for 2 days, and when it did it would cut on and off. -The shower was absolutely disgusting and had black marks, mold im assuming.. -Also the shower head was broken and kept falling over. -Our towels were stained. Lastly they advertised free parking but it is merely street parking that gets crammed and your car will even get blocked in.

Perfect place and location.

Enjoyed stay at this place. Owners are very welcoming and accomodating, we stayed for 4 days and got upgraded to deluxe rooms. View from rooftop are beautiful. It was just as advertised. Breakfast is also very good but juices need improvement. Also if you bring your car make sure to tell the front desk that you'll need to go out so no one blocks your way. Would love to stay again and recommend to everyone who wants to stay at walking distance from blue mosque.

Great location - close to all the Sultanahmet sites. Really nice breakfast and great little patio to eat it looking right at Little Sofia Mosque. Quiet! Really thoughtful staff.

There's no lift and no one carries luggage upstairs. There's no allowance given to visitors. There's no staff to facilitate the visitors, and it's an own account business. Overly priced for the services given.

Close to most of the main historical site

Great, very helpful and kind management staff. Amazing city! the hotel is near almost everything within walking distance. I recommend using the Big Bus Tour, there is a stop about 5 min from the hotel. Becareful with restaurant prices, always ask for costs before you go in.

i had a good stay. as i already mentioned the staff were great. very friendly and helpful. i asked for dinner early one evening and the food was nice. the family were eating their dinner on one side of the dining area and i was on the other side. yet it was a very homely feeling. just a couple of criticisms. i was woken up at five in the morning by singing/chanting coming from the mosque. the other thing being the owner said he'd give me an alarm call on the morning (4am0 i was checking out, but didn't. it doesn't matter. i depended on my mobile's alarm for that little matter. thank you to the hotel staff for your over-all hospitality.

We stayed there for 4 days. We enjoyed our stay very much. They do not have big buffet but they can prepare you nice breakfast per your order(no charge if included in room price). Rooms are Nice and Clean. Bathroom was Great.Nicely renovated. Excellent Friendly Staff. It is really a NICE place to stay in Istanbul.

Great tourist location

The hotel was very convenient and good value for tourists. The manager went out of his way to help us get to the airport in the snow - he arranged people to carry our luggage to the main road as we were snowed in, and waited with us until the transport arrived. The hotel is nicely decorated and the breakfast was really good and authentic. The hot water in the shower was a bit inconsistent but other than that it was a great stay. It is lacking a lounge area inside, as we met up with friends and had no where to sit and chat. There is a nice patio outside for summer. The airport shuttle was quite expensive and now I know better I will take a taxi.

Perfect hotel in Sultanahmet

This hotel was difficult for the taxi drivers to find but was in a super convenient location. Room was comfortable and nice fresh linen. Bathroom smelled a bit funky but I guess that's expected with these old buildings. Better laundry facilities would be appreciated. Great location. We walked every where and there is a tram that takes you to the newer side of the city. Staff were lovely!

I don't recommend this hotel to stay. Although the staff are friendly but the location of hotel is not good. Needs about 15 min walk to access nearest tram station. You can find better hotels for this price in Istanbul

I booked the annex room because of the picture that was advertised along, once I got there it was a different matter, dirty room, small, smell and dirty bathroom with broken shower, not good at all, then we got moved into the main building which was ok. Bad experience and I would not return there.

A jewel in the heart of Old Istanbul

This little hotel is in a quiet beautiful neighborhood just a 5 minute walk from the center of everything. The room was small but a good use of space and very nice and clean. It felt boutique. ther breakfast is served with so many choices and you have a really nice courtyard to enjoy it. the people working are helpful and have a very good demeanor. It is right by a really great little restaurant called KOS 2 with a high terrace that has an amazing view food and service.

An ancient mosque in the backyard

A walking distance from Arista Bazaar, the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia, Siesta Hotel provides also the convenience of a mosque just across the street from the breakfast patio for those who likes to experience communal prayers as part of their stay in Istanbul. It is an elegant smaller replica of Aya Sofia with beautiful garden. It also served as a landmark to make it easy for taxi drivers to know where our hotel is.The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood that also has restaurants and a grocery store. The rooms and bathrooms were recently remodeled and they can provide a family room that accommodates up to 4 persons. We enjoyed the different routs we could take from different tourists sites to walk back to the hotel and have a different experience of the city each time. You can easily reach the sea shore for a refreshing walk. Friendly staff with a smile and gentle communication skills.

Wonderful neighborhood!

We had an excellent stay at the Siesta Hotel. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and the location was perfect -- just a few minutes walk to the Hippodrome, The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, etc.

Siesta a Good Hotel

We stayed 2 nights at the end of our 3 week trip at Siesta Hotel. When we arrived we stayed at a different hotel around the corner. I am glad we gave Siesta a try. Oksana met us outside when our taxi left us off. She speaks very good English. Everytime we would see her she would stop and talk to us. She would ask if everything was ok with the room. By the time we left I felt like I was saying good bye to a friend. Our room was very nice.Loved the shower.The location is great! Lots of restaurants near by. Breakfast was good also.
