This hotel is very conveniently located, walking distance to the HAVAIST bus to the airport, the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, all the big sights in Sultanahmet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel room itself was.... eh OK. A bit on the older side, but reasonable for the price we paid. There are a lot of choices at breakfast but it's the same buffet every day which got a bit old after the second day. It was a fine stay overall, no complaints or regrets.

The side hotel is a small boutique hotel with old world charm. The room was a comfortable size with excellent mattress and pillows, which as travelers know are sometimes the most important thing. all the staff truly went out of their way to accommodate and help with even the most minor of details.

Side Hotel was recommended by a friend who has stayed there several times. Great location just a 2 minute stroll from Hagia Sofia. The staff at the hotel were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the roof terrace delicious and we loved the view. Hotel is spotless, so clean. Great value for money and a wonderful stay. Would recommend!!

Wonderful stay! This is my third time using this hotel. The workers are super friendly, and the location is super convenient-- less than a 5 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia and a 15-20 minute walk to eminonu.

Me hospedé una noche, el hotel esta muy bien ubicado a 5 minutos caminando de Hagia Sophia y de la Mezquita Azul, y un par de minutos mas hacia el palacio de Topkapi y de una estación del tram que te permite moverte hacia la torre galata. El personal fue muy muy amable, el desayuno delicioso con variedad de quesos. El lugar es tranquilo de noche y seguro.

Great location for visiting the famous historic Ottoman landmarks in Istanbul (many are walking distance from hotel). Friendly and helpful staff especially at the front desk. Hotel itself is no frills, clean and basic. Great shower and a decent breakfast provided each morning. We would be happy to stay again. A small word of caution, there is no lift so if you have mobility issues best to request a ground floor room.

Love Side Hotel

I love Side Hotel - I have stayed there (by myself) several times over the years. I don't drive in Turkey so I do not know about parking. The staff is very professional but also friendly. I feel very welcome and safe when I stay there. Perfect location.

Amazing place

Excellent hotel, friendly staff. Location is amazing in the heart of SlutanAhmet area. Particular thanks to Emrey for being so kind and caring. One thing is may be to add more variety to the breakfast buffet, but otherwise can't fault them. I definitely recommend.

This is a very pleasant, small boutique hotel in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul, close and convenient to many of the key attractions of Istanbul. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. There is some construction and renovation work going on in and around the hotel, but the disruption is minimal. Good option for a holiday.
