The Great Western Hotel

"Stayed for a single night, in order to get an early ferry the next morning. Discovered on checkin that the car park had a £10 per night fee which wasn't specified on Hotels.com at the time of booking (it has now since been added). There is a car park nearly where you can park for free between 6pm and 9am. The hotel generally, and the room in particular was very dated, the decor feeling very 1970s/1980s . Nevertheless the room was clean, everything worked and the bed was OK, but sleep quality wasnt good. There was a large group in the hotel at the time and they were quite loud at night and really early in the morning - the walls were very thin. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. Would I stay again?? Probably not."
