Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
We stayed here December 29–30 as part of a holiday ski trip and rented 9 rooms. We paid for multiple nights and left early because conditions were so bad.
From check-in onward, staff were hostile, rude, and completely unprofessional. We were told we couldn’t gather in the lobby or pool area, with staff inventing a “10 PM closure” that was posted nowhere. At 10 PM, the manager stormed into the pool and screamed at children to “get out,” citing rules that were also not posted. Later, the front desk threatened to call the police if we didn’t all return to our rooms by 10 PM — something I’ve never experienced at any hotel, ever.
The parking lot was unplowed more than 36 hours after snowfall, creating unsafe conditions. Staff wrongly accused one of our group of parking dangerously, then never apologized when proven wrong.
Rooms and lobby were dirty — crumbs, candy, dirt under beds and in furniture. Smoke detectors in the hallway were taped over, which is terrifying and appears to be a fire code violation.
Only one key per room was allowed unless you paid a $20 deposit. The next day, the pool was suddenly “closed” with no explanation.
Staff wore pajamas, made up rules, and treated paying guests like criminals. All nine rooms moved to another hotel.
Save yourself the stress. Stay literally anywhere else.
