The lobby & lounge are impressive. The room was clean, but it needs some attention & updating. I prefer using stairs, but the for those who don’t, the elevator on the west end was out of service and should get fixed. The tile shower is nice, but the toilet is an old type that uses a lot of water and requires holding the lever down for 15 seconds to work.

The hotel is very dated and can use refurbishment. Also, had a negative experience with the lobby bartender. He told us that we (8 of us) couldn’t bring a drink from our room. We were going to spend the next three hours buying drinks. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over my long life and never had a staff member say that to us. He became belligerent when one of the guys questioned him.

Check in staff were rude. The place is under new ownership and being rehabbed. We stayed last year and really enjoyed the place so we came back. Definitely not the same atmosphere. Had to pay for parking now. We will not be going back.

Nice rooms, great pool area with food & drinks available. Restaurant open for breakfast, lunch & dinner with good Happy Hour deals. Nice location not too far from restaurants. Stayed here twice and will definitely stay here again!
