Hotel Praia do Portinho
Fabulous location across from the beach. Staff were warm and welcoming. Hotel property has a nice pool and lovely landscaping. Private and secure. Nothing fancy but it was exactly what I was looking for. The included breakfast was also great!

The pools fed by the waterfall made Hotel Mercedes stand out from anywhere else. Be aware that bad weather can effect the use. There was torrential rains while we were there, the pools had to be emptied and cleaned, but the couple days being able to use it were worth it. There is some snorkeling ...
