Perfect, relaxing getaway

This was our last mini vaca before our first baby and it was exactly what we needed. Everything was clean, the property was well maintained, and the neighborhood was extremely quiet. We loved having the hot tub and hammock for our mornings and evenings, and the location is great so we could head out west for a bit during the day. Would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We had all the cooking utensils, pans and grill that we needed! The place was very clean, the hot tub was a lovely touch as well! Great outdoor area and quiet neighborhood! Very close to hiking for St Mary’s Glacier too! We would absolutely stay again!

Get away to the mountains

The house was great. The hosts were incredible. He was there when we arrived and gave us many tips about the house and the surrounding area. The only and I mean only issue I had was the thermostat. No having ever used that brand of thermostat, it took me awhile to figure out how to adjust it. Using the rim of the thermostat to adjust. After that we were cozy. Still can't believe how well it is stocked with everything we needed.

Relaxation in the Mountains

This property is great! We immensely enjoyed our stay at the property. The outside features woods and cool mountain air. We enjoyed many meals on the deck and ended the night in the hot tub enjoying the stars. The inside was open and beautifully decorated. I have nothing but good things to say about the property. The check in process was very easy and communication was excellent. We had one issue arise on the trip but Jenna had it resolved within the hour. If you stay here you have to check out St Mary’s glacier, only a few minutes drive away! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet mountain retreat.

Perfect getaway!

From getting an inviting welcome text before we arrived that answered any questions we could’ve had, to a very detailed explanation on how to start a perfect fire in the wood burning stove, we couldn’t have asked for a better first time in CO! Very clean, and decorated perfectly to feel that “CO mountain escape” feeling. Also, has anything you may need from snacks, to seasonings, to firewood!

Scenic property and cabin

The cabin looked just like the pictures. It is in great shape and looks new. We cooked most nights after hiking and then played games and enjoyed the hot tub. We did eat out a few times in Idaho Springs (MT Prime, Beau Jo's Pizza, and Smokin Yards BBQ). During the day, we hiked St. Mary's glacier, Berthoud Pass, Echo Lake to Indian Springs Reservoir, and Square Top Lakes. We also went to Fall River Reservoir (4x4 required) and drove MT Evans scenic byway (timed reservation required). We saw mountain goats and bighorn sheep. My son fished in the neighborhood lake after dinner and caught 2 fish (worms worked but not power bait). Had a fun filled week! The cabin was a perfect place to hang out in the evening. The host Jenna was very responsive to any questions we had the first few days.

The weekend was a great getaway filled with fishing, hiking and moose viewing. We loved the location close enough to hike to St. Mary’s glacier. 2 fishing locations with short distance. The hot tub was enjoyable during a rainy evening.

Amazing home in the mountains

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here so much. The house is beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the porch. So relaxing.We hiked to St Mary's glacier which is only a mile to the trailhead. We even saw a bear walk through the yard!

Great Winter Escape

Beautiful drive "straight up" the mountain ends at a really cozy place. We loved every detail inside and out especially the hot tub after a full day of skiing. Jenna communicates before and during your stay with no surprises. We want to go back in the summer!

Modern yet quaint cabin in a quiet area close to Idaho Springs

My husband and I loved this house! It is so inviting with a front porch with a sitting area and gas fire pit. It also has an outside hot tub. It is about 15 minutes from Idaho Springs and very close to St. Mary's Glacier. We also found a trail at the other end of the neighborhood to Loch Lomond..most vehicles can make it to the first lake with waterfall and there are other lakes up above to hike to...very beautiful place! I can't say enough how cute and inviting it is! We had everything we needed for a great stay and Jenna, our rep, was very helpful! It's a little drive to some things, but well worth it to have the privacy and quiet. It is a very romantic place that we would highly recommend!

We met our adult kids for a short stay. Owner was amazing at communicating before and during our stay. Property was well equipped (even for pets) and location was great for us - hiked St Mary’s Glacier nearby. Neighborhood lake fishing was great too! Would definitely stay again!

Fun retreat!

Our group of 4 women stayed here for our hiking get away. A nice, newer home located away from town but close enough for convenience. There were great hikes very close to the cabin. Fun towns and restaurants nearby! Our favorite thing about the house is coffee on the porch! Loved the fire pit!
