I booked a room on expedia, and paid for it. Upon arrival the young man at the front desk informs me of an additional 100 dollar deposit that needs to be paid for incidentals. No big deal. This is where the nightmare began. Apparently the hotel does not accept my credit card type, and I was unable to check into the room. Nowhere on the listing or in the fine print did it mention the 100 dollar deposit or the form of payment they do and do not accept to pay it. Management refuses to refund my money for a room I wasn't even able to check into due to their policy and their failure to disclose this policy until they already have robbed you for your money. I work on the road, and I am in a hotel room 3weeks out of the month. I have been staying at wyndham properties exclusively lately, but after this experience, I am forced to take my business elsewhere. I refuse to be taken advantage of by a company I pay good money to for services.
