Short stay close to med center but one of the cleanest and friendliest crew seen in long time. Light, airy, spacious, no must or smoke smells. Food in restaurant was reasonably priced and very good. Could substitute veggies w/o extra charge.

Very professional and clean hotel, the lobby smelled nice upon entering. Our room was very clean. We especially enjoyed the Byredo luxury shampoo and soap they offered. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable and we were able to black out our room with the curtains and enjoy crisp AC. We were able to get some cocktails from the bar in the lobby which was super convenient and parking the car was simple and felt safe ( parking was included with my booking), they also offered valet rates and daily rates. Location is nice, we were able to get to the Galleria, The Heights, and Montrose area within 15 minutes.

The service was not great, we checked in very late in the evening/morning due to unforeseen circumstances. It took nearly 20 minutes to find someone who worked at the hotel to check us in. The individual at the front desk was a bit rude and both verbally and visibly annoyed that were were checking in at the time we were. We also called and asked for room cleaning the next day and none was provided.

Had an amazing stay. The rooms were spacious, pristine, comfortable, and secure. The amenities such as luxury bath soap, slippers, and top notch service made our stay outstanding. Check in/out was simple and all staff were polite and courteous. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend this place to all my family and friends.

The bedding is not great. The 'duvet' is more like a sheet. Too thin to be comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk (Aiden or Adrien?) was far from friendly. Never greeted us. Never smiled. We won't be coming back. Bartenders in the restaurant were fantastic.

Not up to the InterContinental Standard
Check in was great. Valet and the porters were awesome. The room was nice. Service in the restaurant was absolutely terrible. 15 minutes before they came for the drink order and we had to ask to have our drink order taken. It took an exceptionally long time (about 45 minutes) to get our food and drinks. It was quite a surprise for an InterContinental Hotel that has a reputation for excellent service. The food was ok, super salty for the ratatouille and a bit sickly sweet for the beet salad, but the drinks were really sub-par. It was not the A-team working, as the bar and restaurant weren't busy at all, which should have been a warning, given that there are no easy options for dinner within walking distance. We stayed again a few days later and we had the opposite experience, with great food and service while sitting at the bar.

It was very clean. Be prepared to pay the valet $39 and self parking was $29. I’m in wheelchair and it was 12:20am. So we decided probably no close spots. There was no discount for the valet. The checkout was 12 but we had to leave early. Great for dr appts very accommodating in room.

Outstanding Service from Everyone
Service was excellent-from check in to bar & restaurant to housekeeping. So many hotels these days are a little worn. This one was beautiful, clean and up to date. Great stay!!!
