The fridge wasn’t working properly, all frosting built up. Jennay came up to check, she turned to the nob to maximum. It just barely cool. I put 2 fruit cups and sandwiches into the fridge and threw them away the next morning. Water from frosting was melted out that made the floor wet. I took bath towel to help soaking up water. I was disappointed to stay at Double Tree hotel. 😟

The location was perfect, super close to BellAir where they have endless Asian restaurants and desserts, Staff were so sweet and accommodating from front desk like Manny & Mike. Restaurant and gym on site. Houston trip was perfect.

The staff were really nice, the hotel and our room seemed pretty clean. The room had a stale smell, the ice maker on our floor wasn’t working. Over all, it was really good experience and I would stay there again.

The young lady who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. I chose this hotel because it is advertised as having a bar and restaurant. Upon my arrival (on a Saturday), I was informed that both are not available on weekends. This information should be provided to guests in advance. Luckily there is a restaurant only steps away across the parking lot. Other than the unavailable amenities, my room was clean and my bed was comfortable.

At check in no one was at the counter. I was on a business trip and go to Houston often I wanted to try this hotel out. I had to go to the bar to inform that no one is at the register. Another guy was waiting ahead of me Finally a lady came she was nice but having zero at a counter for us to check in from a hotel like this is unacceptable Then the food. The most horrible food that’s available to mankind. Just don’t order anything I didn’t eat. So for breakfast I decided I am definitely not going to order anything Looks like the hotel is short staff. Don’t expect any good food from this hotel
