The bed was hard as a rock, the sofa was hard. Did not like the curtians / shade, you can not look outside unless you roll the shade up , exposing you to whom ever is in the parking lot. The breakfast was limited and did not look good, it was pre prepared and all the breakfast sand witches were included meat, ham, not good if you don't eat ham or meat. i got a packaged donut and it was not good. The boiled pre packed eggs tasted funny and the package had excess water in it, not sure it was safe to eat. the place was clean but would not stay there again.

The property was right on the fringe of the city, that was helpful to avoid all the traffic building up at the racetrack and bathrow, however, the drive in to get reasonable gas prices and hit a Walmart was at least ten minutes. For a smaller town, the drive seemed like we were staying in the boondocks. The building was situated close to the water which was a great view! There was essentially no lawn and I wonder where the pet population used the potty at? We were awakened early every morning by a dog barking in the hallway, and someone above us stomping around... I wondered about the person above, if they lived there/worked there/or if they were a guest like we were, they were loud. Finally, the room was so cool but we were disappointed that the appliances were already dented, there was large food crumbs under the dishwasher that was very noticeable from the table that we were entertaining family members at, and looks like food on the wall behind the microwave. Walking down the hall to our suite on Saturday night and Sunday night, piles of towels and a bag of trash were sitting in front of our neighbors' doors, they never got removed! That was ugly and probably hazardous to maneuver around. Breakfast was generous and they really attempted to provide nutritious and interesting meals. Loved that hot chocolate was available too!

The bed was firm. Whenever something was needed it took a fair amount of time to get. We asked for a pillow topper for the bed because of how hard the bed was and it took over an hour to get there. I am personally not a fan of a firm bed. Not enough pillows. For all of breakfasts except for one we were served an apple, a muffin, a nitro grain bar, and a juice, you could choose a milk if you wanted to. Then finally on the last we had a breakfast sandwich. I do understand that this is not the hotels fault. Bonus is that there was a full sized refrigerator and freezer and a dishwasher as well. Housekeeping doesn’t come to your room and clean at all during your entire stay. If you need any more linens or stuff like that they will get you more. I felt like this place could use more staff at the front desk, average person working at the front desk is 1. I went down there several times through out my stay here and there was no front desk person there. This is just not the time to take a vacation during COVID-19.
