The heater in our room wouldn't turn off. When we told the front desk about it, we were told that it takes awhile to cool down. Throughout the night it never did cool down. In fact we had to prop open the window to get the place cooled down. Was not aware that our room wouldn't have a fridge or micro. Was told online that our parking token would be available at the front desk for $3.00. The guy at the desk said they didn't have that amenity! I liked the place, but there were a few things that didn't match up with our online reservation promises. I suggested to the front desk that management should be told of the inaccuracies that are displayed/promised, while looking into their amenities, and room description, when going online to make a reservations.

As always, my stay was fantastic! The staff at this hotel are tops, imo. Keep in mind, fellow travelers, this is a fully restored historic hotel and the water in the showers and/or sinks may at times run very hot or very cold but it certainly doesn’t detract from the charm. Take staff advice for dining and activity suggestions. Try doing something or going somewhere new. Enjoy your stay, enjoy the town - both are delightful!

Everything was clean, cozy, and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed live jazz music on a Saturday night with the glow of a beautiful fire. Some people danced while others simply enjoyed the revalry. My wife and I also enjoyed the best breakfast in town downstairs at Broder
