Il Cottage si trova nel centro di Honley, in una posizione molto comoda. È un luogo tranquillo e caratteristico, che sembra riportarti indietro nel tempo. L’atmosfera di Honley è molto piacevole e abbiamo trovato le persone del posto socievoli e cordiali. A pochi passi si trovano ristoranti, pub e un supermercato. È anche un buon punto di partenza per visitare il Peak District, raggiungibile in poco più di un’ora, e per fare belle passeggiate tra i paesi vicini. L’appartamento è comodo e luminoso. In casa erano presenti tutti gli utensili necessari per cucinare, cosa che abbiamo apprezzato. Avevamo scelto l’alloggio anche per la presenza dell’asciugatrice e del parcheggio. Purtroppo, rispetto alla descrizione su Expedia, l’asciugatrice non era presente. Per il parcheggio sarebbe invece utile specificare meglio che è adatto soprattutto ad auto molto piccole. Ci sono comunque dei parcheggi pubblici vicini. L’alloggio è in linea di massima silenzioso. È però bene sapere che si sentono i rintocchi delle campane a ogni ora, anche durante la notte, un dettaglio che potrebbe disturbare chi ha il sonno leggero. Ben è un host preciso, molto cordiale e disponibile, sempre veloce nelle risposte. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene e consigliamo il Cottage a chi cerca un soggiorno tranquillo e caratteristico in un paese inglese, con locali e negozi a pochi passi.
