Lovely views

Although this looks a lovely hotel, I found for over £100 room only was quite expensive. The food was basic, the fish pie had very few tiny pieces of fish and was mainly mash and sauce. Staff were lovely tho. Beautiful surroundings and views.

Excellent stay, amazing food and an excellent pint of JW LEES stout. The staff were awesome and a special mention of Charlie(Charlotte), Lakesia and Amelia and also the new manager Dave. The air conditioning in the room was most welcome and will be looking to book this room again. Finally cannot rate The Huntsman Inn highly enough, well worth a visit with the new updates and stunning location with superb views.

Great mini break.

Overall it was a lovely night away. The staff were amazing, the food was amazing. Check in was great and super informative. For me, the mattress was a little too hard. We did book this using our Tesco Clubcard vouchers. The room we were given had an amazing view. The only niggle was that the headboard has been removed for some reason but it had left ripped wallpaper and also the wall plugs were sticking out. This was all in line just above the pillows. It did make me think, were we given this room because we’d used discount vouchers? It didn’t ruin our stay though at all and I would definitely return here again. Beautiful location and a fabulous mini break.
