I recently stayed at GK Central Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect within walking distance to restaurants, museums, nightlife, and many major attractions. It’s ideal for travelers who enjoy exploring the city on foot. The room itself was clean and comfortable, although I did find it a bit small. The window was an unusual rectangle shape and didn’t offer much of a view, which was a slight downside. However, the convenience of the location and the overall atmosphere more than made up for that. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel with easy access to the best of Ho Chi Minh City, this is a solid choice.

This is an excellent property in the middle of everything that was important to me. For perspective, this is a budget option. I like to walk so places like Independence Palace, Bui Vien Walking Street and the river were easy to get to. Not once did I need take any transportation to get where I wanted to. Room was sized just right for me (I am a solo traveler). Wi-Fi was strong. Room and bathroom were clean. Staff were always pleasant, greeting me every time I passed by the desk. Five stars all around. I will definitely stay here again.

Room was a little small. Couldn't slide out the desk chair without bumping into the bed. But the place grew on me after a day or so. It's cozy and quiet. The hotel itself is right in the middle of everything. Food and shopping are all within walking distance, although you'll need to catch a scooter to Bui Vien Walking Street or Japan Town.

Deluxe room advertised is misleading, unless you get a room allocated from the 5th or 6th floor and above there is no natural light in the room as windows overlook a narrow shaft which obviously cannot be accessed for cleaning the windows where dirty from bird excrement and could not open the window because of the smell. Apart from this the hotel staff were really good and friendly, the location of the hotel is also good with lots of places for coffee, drinks or dining.

What I like the most are the front Desk clerks at GK Central hotel knows customer service, calling whatever your plans for the day, and making sure that whatever your plans they will arrange it for you. The men’s at the front service always ready to help whenever and whatever the need.
