A very good base for exploring Hiroshima

Conveniently situated in the commercial centre with plenty of places to eat nearby. It is about 30 minutes walk or 10-15 by frequent trams from the station and half that to the peace park/museums. Breakfast is good and plentiful with many local specialities and coffee and soft drinks with snacks available free through the day and wine and nibbles and later on fish soup soup in the evening. There's a nice communal bath and very reasonably priced coin wash facilities (though only 2 slow machines with high demand). Very helpful staff - and rooms are well equipped and a decent size for Japan.

Do not recommend this hotel

Hard to find. Promised onsite parking but had to find off site parking. Little or no service - pretty much have to do everything for yourself. Staff very poor English. No upgrade offered and room very expensive compared to other hotels with much better amenities and service.

Excellent hotel at a reasonable price

This was an excellent hotel within easy walking distance to most of Hiroshima’s major attractions. The rooms were very spacious and the free amenities such as coffee/tea service, happy hour and late evening rice bowls were great surprises. Finally, the price for all of this was extremely reasonable for a city center hotel.

Generally very good. Loved the location, walkable to trains - 15mins. Lots of good restaurants within 10 mins. 7-11 next door. Rooms are a decent size, great amenities. Fails on the breakfast circus. Everyone in the Hotel shows up at exactly the same time and the que takes up to 30 minutes to work through. Choices are OK. Staff is very regimented and it sometimes feels like the chow line in the army, not a Hotel restaurant. Hotel should consider staggering entry times for breakfast.

The location was excellent with everything close. The Peace Park, shopping and dining were all within 15 minutes or less. We found the beds to be firm and not very comfortable. We had the junior suite room that was very spacious with a separate toilet and shower area. The AC would not hold our desired temperature and would move up to 25 Celsius after 15-20. Overall it was good, we would stay again.
