We had a fantastic time at this property. The quick access to and from the beach was ideal for our little ones (2/4/6), and the beach views gave us some spectacular sunrises. The two kitchen refrigerators were perfect for the large group, and the en suite bathrooms in each area was great. I would highly recommend this property to others, especially larger groups/families, unless it is a time we are trying to reserve! :-)

The house was fabulous... very nicely decorated and provisioned with everything we needed and more. The kitchen nice size, loved 2 refridgerators and kitchen table plus great long table in dining room for family. All the. bathrooms ( every bedroom had en -suite) were great size and very new. The pool was wonderful and great size. Perfect views of beach and nice private walkway to get there. We all can not wait to return to home! Having owned a beach rental home on St Simons Island I am pretty critical of homes and this home is outstanding.. 5*****.. Pictures illustrate it perfectly.

Great beach access and master suites

Great beach front location 4 master suites and kids room. Common area for large group. Hot tub is very small. Street parking for two vehicles and garage parking for small vehicles only.

This is a great house! Has everything you need for a comfortable beach trip! Beds were very comfy! Great view! Kitchen well stocked! Pool area is excellent. Lots of avail pool toys too!

The property and rating of the pool is absolutely beautiful. It was so nice to have our own walkway -Private beach for King bedrooms made it difficult to work out who slept where! The pool was amazing. The view was amazing and weather was beautiful. The only issue that we really had was that there was limited parking places.

Very spacious home. Only downside, our pool was never cleaned the entire week we were there. We would definitely recommend this property.

Reunion

The entire experience, from moment of booking to check out, was an absolute pleasure! I was impressed with the periodicity of communication via email updates and the clarity of instructions. The resort/neighborhood is top notch, and the property of the house is immaculate. There was enough privacy from neighboring homes to allow for your own “remote beach experience.” The kitchen is well stocked, bathrooms are spacious and clean, bedrooms are large and cozy, and communal spaces are well laid out. If I find myself back in Hilton Head, I may just have to recruit another large group of family/friends just so I can make an excuse to re-book the wonderful 10 Ketch!

The pool and balconies are super and the outdoor deck near the beach was used daily. And of course right on the beach with private access. Only issue was there appeared to be a mold smell in house which happens at beach properties but it should be rectified. Great property!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at this property. A wonderful house, well appointed for the 11 of us and a short walk to the beach. We had one issue with the pool which was fixed within a couple hours of notifying Island Time. One area that needs some attention are the pool umbrellas. All 3 have seen better days and the bases don’t hold up to the ocean breeze. This was our second stay here and we will be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and perfect for the 4 families in our group. Having direct and private beach access was also ideal. With a combo of both kids and adults we enjoyed every family having their own room and bathroom, and a dedicated bunk room and bathroom for all the kids. Accommodations were overall wonderful. My only complaint is that there is no shaded porch for outdoor gathering. Each evening we would have liked to enjoy the view of the beach from our house but there was only a very small porch, just a few chairs, and the shade was limited.

Will not use Island Time rental again

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Tried to submit a thorough and detailed review but wasn’t able to due to limit of characters allowed. I attached a link that will hopefully suffice.Nice property not being properly managed/maintained. Felt like company wasn’t fair in compensation for inconveniences and issues. Gorgeous house in an amazing location

We just got back from staying for a week at this great property and so wish we could still be there. The house truly exceeded our expectations. It appears that the house has just undergone a remodel because the furniture, decorations, and everything were in great condition and looked fabulous. Each bedroom has a bathroom inside and are laid out very nicely for individual couples, people, or groups. And there are great views from 4 of the 5 bedrooms (not the kid-focused room with bunk beds) which is an awesome treat. The location within Palmetto Dunes is a nice element that we didn’t understand before booking. It is a gorgeous resort that you drive through to get to the house, with 1-2 checkpoints depending on the time of day. There are great amenities that you can bike or drive to such as kayaking, tennis, pickle ball, a small store with great treats, and a couple of restaurants. The location on the beach was amazing and made it very easy to get beach time on a part of the beach that was not crowded, even when the weather was amazing. The pool too was really nice, with places to wash off from the beach before getting in the pool. There were also good chairs and toys for the beach readily available. We also got some things delivered through the property manager, which was nice, but the house had decent chairs and boogies boards too. We would definitely stay here again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Generally very good. The only big issue we encountered was a problem with trash pickup or lack of it to be specific. The house in general was fairly well appointed, the bath rooms were updated and the bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen and main living area needs updating and there was a problem with the ice maker that wasn't resolved. The outdoor pool area was very nice and the beach access was great. All things considered, our stay was enjoyable. We considered staying here next summer however, we couldn't justify the huge price increase for this 5 bedroom vacation house.

The chat area off the pool was very comfortable for morning coffee and evening drinks. This house is well stocked with games and the kitchen wasn't missing a thing. Incredible views and access to the beach was a breeze. Hopefully the sectional sofa will be replaced for our next visit.
