The property looks like it was vacant as we arrived. A sign directed to a room to check in. Nearly every room door had a sign on it reading “caution under construction”. There was no one in the designated temporary check in room so I called the posted phone number. It rang numerous times before saying the Verizon customer I was calling was not available. We drove to 4 more hotels to find a room and spent an additional $275 to find a room. I would like a refund for the total I spent with Expedia for this room!

The staff was very friendly and kind and helpful. The room was very clean and well put together. Great big bed, clean sheets and pillows, microwave, full refrigerator, clean toilet and shower. Hot and cold water in the sink and shower. And the heater worked too good. I set it at 72 and had to turn it down in the middle of the night bc the room was too warm. Folks, I usually stay at Marriotts for 220.00 a night. For 91.00 bucks, on Hilton Head Island (!) I’ll come to this Simple Rewards Inn every time in the future. This hotel is a great value✅👏✅👏
