Nice Place for the Value

I had no idea when we booked the room that we were staying at the Westin Resort. So, in addition to the great villa away from the hotel, we had all of the amenities of a resort .34 mile bike ride away. We enjoyed the restaurants, the multiple pools and the ocean for hours each day. When we were finished, we would head back to the villa, shower up and head out to dinner. The villa had plenty of space for our family of 5, the furniture and decor were great and the local pool was a nice touch. There were a few issues with the villa that could have made for a better experience- the master bed had a literal whole in the left side (as though the springs were pulled out) , we could never get the 3 TVs to work, the dishwasher was crazy loud and there was no ice machine in the freezer. None of those things were show stoppers, but they could have made for better experience.

124 Ocean View Villa

Pros: Property was very welcoming, nice and clean, spacious and location was great, access to pool right outside the back patio. Super nice!
Cons: The only thing I found that would have been nice to have (amenity wise) is salt/pepper packs. coffee/creamer/sugar were provided, but not s/p.
Location: shuttle service to westin and beach access was great.. everything around the island was simple and close.. definitely will be back!
Overall experience was great! very nice property and spacious villa; check-in/out was super easy, always felt very safe. Experience through Travelocity was easy and will be doing again!

Great Accommodations, but not as described

Pros: The resort was very clean, inside & out. The towels and linens were fresh smelling, and a crisp white. It was quiet & serene--very peaceful.
Cons: Staff needs a lesson in customer-loyalty/non-deceptive practices. I felt like a 2nd class citizen when I was escorted from the Windham lobby to them.
Location: Savannah's about 45 min. out & Tybee about 20 min. from there. They both have a lot to do. The beach at Tybee is MUCH cleaner than at the resort!
The resort was flawless; from the grounds, landscaping, and beyond! The resort is very quiet and peacefully tucked away in the shade of lots of well manicured trees. The inside of our condo was very clean. I am very hard to please when it comes to living conditions. I felt very comfortable with the rooms, kitchen, and all. The condo was reasonably stocked with amenities for our 4 day/ 3 night stay (4 adults). One of the best attractions about this property was the fact that both bedrooms had a garden, Jacuzzi tub (no one couple had to compromise). Now to my disappointments- the second BR had twin beds that pushed together to make a queen. They moved easily, but that also means that they had an indention in the center of the bed--not good for a cuddling couple. When I booked the reservation, I requested beach view & was told that a request would be made for it, but there was no guarantee. I took that to mean that I would be beachside, but there was a chance that my view would face away from the beach. Well we were not beachside, rather we were a couple of roadways away. I felt extremely mislead. If I knew that we'd be that far from the beach, I would've booked elsewhere. Our view was a gator populated stream/swamp(?). Not bad for the outdoorsman, but not what we wanted. The check in was awkward. The main lobby (Windham), was spacious & beautiful. As we attempted to check in there, we were rerouted to what I would call a closet sized room & the staff seemed confused!
