Most likely not one insect can survive in this hotel which is a plus. If you love the smell of insecticide, this is the place for you. They must have sprayed a gallon in the elevators. I held my breath every time I was in it. The second floor hallway also had a fainter odor of insecticide, and every not and then I'd catch a whiff in my room. On the plus side, the room layouts were nice and very clean and modern. Breakfast was typical hotel fare. Staff was very pleasant and polite. Beds were comfortable. But I would not stay again, just because of the potentially toxic environment.

The property was clean. The staff was not very friendly or responsive to my complaint about the unpleasant odor in our room and throughout the hotel premises. It appears the property is near a waste facility which does produce a foul odor in the surrounding area at times. The odor was quite noticeable and kept us from getting a good night’s sleep. There was not anyone available at the front desk during the night nor was a manager on duty when we checked out the following morning. I asked the front desk employee to have the manager call me to discuss, but this did not happen. I think the manager should offer me a discount/refund of the charges.

When we arrived there were 2 employees at the front desk. One was helping a customer. The other was sitting down saw us and said nothing. Customer service is big in my eyes. The employee could have simply acknowledged my husband and I and said “she will be with you in a moment “. Very unprofessional. Otherwise the room I selected is spacious, clean.
