The location was perfect! However, the cleanliness of the hotel rooms was inadequate. The hotel needs to pay more attention to detail. The bathrooms were moldy and smelled like urine, the towels were dirty and the bed sheets were discolored. There was dust and dirt in the rooms that you know have not been cleaned in months... The staff were polite and attentive. The hotel has so much potential because of the location if only it was cleaner.

Så himla bra hotell för avkoppling och strandhäng! Superfint läge, trevlig och hjälpsam personal och bara en kort tuktuk-tur bort från centrala hikkaduwa eller Galle. Stranden här var mycket bättre än den i centrala hikkaduwa eftersom den var både lugnare och bredare.

Rent og velholdt sted med hyggelig betjening. Stedet er akkurat passe lite for å føle at man bli tatt vare på. God plassering på stranden, og kun noen minutters gange til gode surfemuligheter.

Not what you'd expect for the price

Cleanliness of the room was poor - room was dusty, there were cobwebs, it had lots of stains on the walls, a strong smell, sanitaryware wasn't clean, towels appeared dirty with lots of stains etc - especially in these times you would expect a high focus on cleanliness. We were also not informed about daily cleaning practicalities, so missed out on it the first day. Wifi worked only in the lobby, and payment was not possible with credit card even though was supposed to be. All this to say, it simply wasn't value for money, and not what you'd expect at this price point. The location and pool area was great, sea view from room really nice, breakfast was simple but delicious and service mainly very good. Although when the mentioned problems were raised, we hardly got any response, reaction or apologies.
