Our family of 5 had the most wonderful stay. This pristine home is incredibly spacious with a kitchen and living area that is ideal for folks to cook, read, and spend time. The property is so lovely and peaceful....we made acquaintances with the neighboring cows. We also golfed, hiked and explored the beautiful surrounding woods. Highly recommend this very lovely getaway!

This is our fifth year in a row that we have rented this lovely home for an early Christmas. It’s great for our kids and grandkids. Plenty of room to spread out and a wonderful “gathering”kitchen. The owner communicates terrifically and the house is spotless. And such a gorgeous setting! We look forward to our sixth visit next year!

A wonderful spring break retreat, near the Mohonk Mountain House

We loved our stay in this spacious, well decorated, and comfortable home during our kids' spring break. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable (and fun, two having cool loft areas to hang out/sleep), the kitchen well-appointed and massive, and the private living room area with TV was a favorite for family movies and puzzling. Highly recommend and would love to return during warmer weather to take advantage of the pool!

This is our 4th family “early” Christmas at this wonderful home. Great layout, gourmet kitchen, plenty of room to spread out and wonderful communication with owner. Can hardly wait to come back next year!

Leslie’s home is a wonderful property and an excellent place to stay. The house feels larger than the photos suggest, with higher ceilings that create a very open and comfortable atmosphere. The kitchen is very well stocked, and the home was exceptionally clean, with quality soaps and shampoos provided. We especially enjoyed the fenced backyard and the view of cows on the neighboring farm, which added to the charm. We visited during a snowstorm, and the setting truly felt like a winter wonderland. The location is convenient, with a short drive to the grocery store and attractions in nearby towns. Leslie was very responsive to every attempt to communicate. We would strongly recommend this property.

Terrific home and location

Wonderful breath of fresh air!

We had a wonderful stay for a long weekend in this beautiful house, which allowed for both privacy and very comfortable places to gather. Our extended family took a collective deep breath and relaxed together. The house is only a short drive from local groceries, restaurants and fall activities. We'd love to return again soon!

Christmas Gathering

Amazing home in a perfect location for a multi generational family Christmas gathering (dog included!). We were able to prepare and share meals, do puzzles and enjoy the fire all at the same time. Looking out at the surrounding nature - including deer and the neighboring cows- was a treat! We felt very supported during our stay. Would highly recommend!!

Amazing Hudson Valley Retreat

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate Easter. We all had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and feels very secluded, throughout the day deer and birds visited the property. Our proximity to the town of New Paltz and the Mohonk Mountain House (I recommend getting a massage here during your stay!) was very convenient. The home is stocked with everything you need to cook, relax and play! Highly recommended!

The perfect chef’s vacation

We stayed here because it had a lot of bedrooms and was pet friendly. We were overawed by the large kitchen, complete sets of knives, dishes, cooking utensils, and pots. Our family likes to cook together. This place was excellent for cooking and hanging out together while cooking. There’s a separate side room/den for TV for those who want to get away from the crowd. The bedrooms were very nice. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms are very nice. The Jacuzzi bathtub in the master bath was awesome. I would highly recommend this location.

Great House

The entire family loved this house. The house was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The kids and my wife spent hours in the pool. We were just a short ride from great hiking and scenery. High Falls had really good restaurants and a wonderful supermarket was only 15 minutes away in Stone Ridge. The kitchen was ideal to cook for the entire family. My stepson and his wife are major triathletes and the area was perfect for their training. I would definitely book this house again.

Ideal Retreat for Family Vacation

We have been on numerous family vacations using VRBO, but Leslie's house tops them all. The kitchen was fully equipped for meal preparations. The open living area was a great venue for family together-time, as was the pool and deck area. Both children and adults had fun playing ping-pong. Deer and wild turkeys fascinated our grandchildren, as did the cows on the neighboring farm. Leslie is the ultimate host, quickly responding to emails and offering a myriad of suggestions for family friendly restaurants and activities.

Adult weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time in Hudson Valley and staying at Leslie’s house. The property was incredibly clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking at home, and the space was open and inclusive for all the adults to hang out. Check-in was easy and everything was in order. We had 1 minor issue and Leslie was incredibly responsive and helpful to solve it. I’d highly recommend this property- for any time of year. We look forward to hopefully going back in the summer with our kids to take advantage of the beautiful pool.

Another wonderful visit!

This is our third visit to this beautiful property. The home is beautifully maintained. Our grandkids officially call it the Christmas house since we gather from near and far to celebrate Christmas early. Leslie communicates quickly and has been great to work with. The home is perfect for families, with a great kitchen , lots of comfy room to spread out and couldn’t be cozier. We are already planning dates for next year, the ultimate compliment! Wish we could give it 10 stars. Thanks for the hospitality Leslie!

Annual upstate family vacation

Our family loves this house. It’s beautiful and in a great location. Love the cows next door! The house has everything you could want. We are a family of 7 adults and 2 kids and the house was perfect for us. We spent a lot of time in the pool and bbqing with family. The kitchen is exceptional and a great hang out for all. The owners were always in touch and the house was spotless when we arrived. The linens and towels are quality and there were plenty of pool towels. We are looking forward to spending another great family vacation here! This house was a 10!

My partner, my brother-in-law, and his wife stayed here for a long weekend. My oldest daughter was getting married nearby, and we wanted a house near the wedding venue. This home was wonderful and exactly what we needed. The property descriptions are quite accurate, and everything was perfect. The host was communicative and thoughtful. (The local brews and farm fresh eggs in the fridge were a very nice welcome gesture.) The day after the wedding, we hosted the newly wedded couple for a small dinner and the gourmet kitchen was perfect for that! (For those who don’t cook, Ollie’s Pizza in High Falls is an easy five-minute drive. And Stone House Tavern on Route 209 is just about 10 minutes away, and we had a nice meals there.). This is a great property for a family or a pair of couples. The five bedrooms are nice, and two of the five have king beds with master suite vibes. Lovely rural setting with Black Angus cattle on the neighboring property. We saw deer, foxes, and red-tailed hawks during our stay.

Perfect Getaway

High Falls is situated near very cool towns with much to do. There is hiking, fine dining, bike rides and this particular weekend a Pickle Festival on the Ulster County fairgrounds. The house is spacious with a large very well appointed kitchen and 5 bedrooms. The finished basement has a ping pong table. The house is simply but beautifully furnished and meticulously maintained.The property is private. The only thing you can see are the cows on the next property.The owners leave their phone number in case anything is needed and the caretaker is nearby.

What a wonderful stay in High Falls! The house is outfitted perfectly: the kitchen is a chef’s dream, and just a great hang-out space, the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the linens are crisp and clean. The organization of the space allowed our group of friends and family to be together or find moments of separation, some of our gang was watching a movie in the separate den room and we couldn’t hear a peep when we were in the living room chilling in front of the fire - which is hard to come by. There is also a really cool ping pong table in the basement for a little physical fun. We walked in the woods and went on a nearby hike one day. I kept sneaking out to look at the cows next door, an instant exhale and restorative break from the big city. This was the first time visiting High Falls, we needed a breather that was close to the city but felt far away. It was a bit of a last minute trip and Leslie was so responsive in meeting our needs. The check-in and out was smooth and intuitive. We really look forward to staying there again this summer when the pool is open, and to explore the surrounding towns and farmer’s markets! I highly recommend the house, it couldn’t be any better!

A perfect summer rental

My wife and I have stayed in this house every summer for the past few years and love it. This year my wife and I chose to be alone for the first week after which we had our children and grandchildren come up. Being alone in this great big, beautiful home was ideal for just relaxing, swimming in the pool while enjoying the plethora of restaurants in the area. And then having our children and grandchildren come up was a treat for all of us. The kitchen is ideal for group cooking with plenty of room at the table, indoors or outdoors, for eating together. It's a beautiful home, with all the modern amenities. The 5 bedrooms allowed for everyone to have comfortable sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom, with its large bathroom, a double shower and separate whirlpool met our needs entirely. And when my youngest grandchild awoke at the ungodly hour of 6 AM, there was plenty to keep him busy, puzzles, games and toys, allowing the rest of us to sleep. And when we were all awake, there was ping pong, the outdoor fireplace for heating up our "some mores", and the pool which is heated to the perfect temperature. Our renting this home has made my wife and I big stars among the children and grandchildren. I highly recommend this home. You will not be disappointed.
