I liked that the property was very close to where we would be spending much of our time, but I didn't like the room we stayed in. The room had paint peeling from the wall, black mold, cracks in the ceiling, and when the AC unit came on it was really loud.

It's very spacious, so there is no one running down the hall or stomping around on the floor above you. We liked that it was quiet & we liked the location. One side note for visitors to the area: Uber & Lyft is not a major thing in Hickory, so do not count on that as a way to get around! There is a bus at the hotel, but it was not in service.

Interior is dated. Shower was very slow to drain. Standing in 6” of water by the end. The sink leaked.

Liked the property but the rooms are not all facing the outside. Our's was overlooking the bar inside which was weird. Otherwise we had no complaints and it is a nice simple property.

Would request next time not to be placed with room near intersection of roadways. The traffic noise in the evening is VERY loud-especially on weekends—- reeving of engines was very loud when trying to sleep. Rollaway beds mattresses not the best for adults. While visiting pool- we were reprimanded for having some drinks and snacks— nothing glass- including a container of water( which we were told plastics container of water not allowed) and next table had LOTS of food and drink and they did not speak to them at all. ????

Location: Location was GREAT, plenty of places to eat right off of the interstate.
Very quiet and comfortable, bed and pillows were fabulous. the coffee machine in the room didn't work, and there was not a hair dryer. Over all a good stay.
