I wanted something that provided basic service for a reasonable rate, and this was it. Disappointed we couldn't open a window for fresh air though.

No coffee maker, no microwave, no refrigerator, no breakfast. Tissues and children's toys under the bed. Cable selection was minimal. HDMI input locked out on the TV so I could not even run NetFlix or Amazon Prime to make up for the dismal cable selection. In-room safe did not work and staff said, "I don't know anything about the safes." At least the "Red Roof" didn't leak!

Good Location

Pros: There are two positive features to this motel 1. It is in a very good location, close to shopping and restaurants. 2. Shower pressure very good
Cons: put tile in bathroom, paint and repair ceiling, replace mattresses and pillows, get new towels and linen,have room service show up.
Location: as stated above, close to restaurants and shopping.
We booked this motel for 3 nights. The room had a king size bed and no refrigerator. The floors were a wood laminate, including the bathroom. The bathroom had a nasty odor to it (probably from anything landing on the floor and being absorbed through the laminate) and the shower surround looked very dirty. The ceiling throughout the room had peeling paint and stains throughout. The next day, we left for the entire day, but before we left I went to the front desk to ask what time does someone come to clean the rooms, I was told they come in at 9am. Upon coming back that evening at 8pm, I noticed no one had cleaned the room. I went to the front desk and was told everyone was gone for the night. I asked for 2 towels and was given 1 towel that had hair on it and 1 shower mat. I called the front desk, and she bought me 2 more towels, again, one of the towels had a hair on it, and all the wash cloths and towels were stained. The bed was like sleeping on cardboard, and the pillows were flat.

Pick a different hotel

Pros: nothing.
Cons: Everything, from the security around the parking lot to have a clean and true smoke free hotel.
Location: Location was the only thing that was good.
This hotel states is a smoke free but it wasn't. as soon as I enter the room the smell of Marijuana hit me , I also notice hair on the sink and when I went to take a shower it had hair and spiders. Would rather spend more money somewhere else and be more comfortable, I slept with my gun by my side since It didn't feel safe.

Hotel located in a nice city.

Pros: I liked the location in the state, and the people that I met in the city. The staff and other employees were pleasant. The landscaping was well kept.
Cons: The maid service should report room problems, before release. The release of the room could be interpreted as deceiving the customer. Not good.
Location: The location of the hotel is near some very pleasing sights. The city offers a museum and other exciting destinations. Shopping and places to walk.
I arrived to a reserved reservation. My reasoning, for securing the room, was based on bypassing the storm in my area closer to the coastline. The hotel front desk staff was nice, and I assumed the room would reflect this type of thinking. I was wrong! The room, upon first observance appeared ready for occupancy. I took the time to check the bath and sink operations as I always do, plus other parts of the room. The sink was blocked, and the linoleum styled wood floor was dirty. The linen on the bed had spots and there was hair throughout the upper part of the bed. The A/C system, wall style, had extensive facial damage to the grill. I brought this to the attention of the front desk, and made it known that I was dissatisfied. I wanted my funds back on my card, and I would secure a room elsewhere in the city. I was told that it would be on Monday, after my stay that the manager would be in the office. I said,"I cannot come back to get my funds returned." The desk never offered to call the manager, based on the facts surrounding the issue. I was assured, if I would make it through the night, all would be made well. The next day I had to find the maintenance person to get my sink unblocked. The person performing maid service, was left alone to clean the room, but did not change the linen as promised. If the floor had been cleaned, I could not discern that fact. Truly, this was a stressful experience. I simply, did not feel rested after the weekend. A low value, for the price.

maid didn't clean or leave towels

Pros: On the plus side it was convenient to conventions center and had lovely grounds.
Cons: staff - unpleasant, no manager, maid service inadequate.
asked for manager on Saturday - told no phone contact and no manager in person until Monday - IF I wanted to wait. refused information to contact Red Roof Inn to file complaint. Door lock problems, multiple non-working card keys. Maid did not clean room or leave clean towels. No continental breakfast. Only upstairs room, even with one handicapped person.

Everything I expected of a basic room

Cons: Signage at the street entrance. The hotel is very visible, but the entrance is an easy-to-miss driveway between two other businesses.
The staff was friendly and courteous, and it was everything I expected of a basic room. There were 2 issues. The phone had a problem, but it was replaced. I saw a small stain on a bedsheet that apparently didn't come out when it was washed. Other than that, everything was fine.

nice hotel, very convenient to everything

Pros: clean, friendly people and quiet
Cons: showers could be bigger, shower curtain clings to you
Location: we go shopping and eating out and visiting family
had a very pleasant stay and will be staying there again in the future
