In the heart of the medieval village, the 15th-century Maison Mousse is a former private mansion that once belonged to the Dukes of Bourbon.
Maison Mousse comprises two gîtes: the Gîte des Communs and the Gîte de la Chapelle, located on the other side of the courtyard. The Gîte des Communs, situated on the first floor, offers a large, bright, and spacious living area including a dining space, kitchen, and lounge. It also features two bedrooms (each with a double bed of 140x190 cm), a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Bicycles and strollers can be stored in the ground-floor entrance. Additional guests can be accommodated on the daybed in the lounge (120 cm) for €15 per person per night. Shaded gardens with outdoor furniture are available for your relaxation. The Gîte de la Chapelle, located on the first floor, is a studio apartment comprising a large living area with an open-plan kitchen and sofa bed, a shower room, and a toilet. Enjoy the shared courtyard, accessed via an authentic spiral staircase. Additional guests can be accommodated upon request in the medieval room (unheated, available from May to the end of September) on the same landing as the studio, €15 per person per night. You will appreciate the proximity to shops in the village, and the Aumance River for walks or fishing. Electric heating. Golf course 12 km. Tronçais Forest 15 km.
