Private parking provided so you can park your car and enjoy the delights of this characterful town on foot only moments away from the cottage.

Stylish pretty yet charming with it's traditional wooden beams, a good sized living area for a traditional cottage, a contemporary fitted kitchen, luxurious roll-top bath with separate shower and two bedrooms with very comfortable Laura Ashley beds. Free wifi provided. An ideal bolt hole to stay for exploring the wonderful Brecon Beacons and borders stunning countryside and activities.

Wonderful place to stay in Hay
My husband and our teenagers stayed there while visiting relatives in the area. My teenagers' exact words to describe the place were "cute and cozy". Check-in and check-out instructions were easy to understand which is always helpful. Special gratitude to the host who helped my little family solve some transportation issues to Hay due to some very bad weather. Sue was "above and beyond" helpful to them and we will always be grateful for her gracious assistance. Highly recommend this Vrbo.

Cosy cottage in Hay-on-Wye
We loved our stay at Chancery Cottage. It was clean, central and perfectly equipped. Our only mixup was when our mobile ‘lost’ the entrance code and we had trouble contacting the owner due to poor reception. It was resolved satisfactorily and we had a fabulous visit to this gorgeous town.

Cosy central comfortable
The property is comfortable. It’s so central even I could walk everywhere in town. The parking space is perfectly convenient. In summer the garden would be perfect for drinks and catching the sun. There were two of us and we were more than comfortable. 4 adults would need to be very good friends!
