Spacious mountain getaway on golf course, near trails, waterfalls & breweries!

Brand new home in the Reserve at Heron Pond in gated Cummings Cove Golf Community. Overlooking a segment of the golf course. Relax on the upper back screened porch or below downstairs patio overlooking a small creek and pond. The spacious living room has a cathedral ceiling and a gas fireplace.

Renters have access to the golf course for reasonable guest green fees, access to all other sports facilities including: outdoor swimming pool and hot tub; weight and exercise rooms with scheduled classes; tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts and 2 bocce courts. You can walk or bike the neighborhood or take a car ride to the top of the mountain for a million dollar view of the mountains and city below. The clubhouse, overlooking the mountains and golf course, has a bar and serves lunch and dinner.

Cummings Cove is conveniently located: 15 min. from downtown historic Hendersonville with its numerous restaurants, Pardee Hospital, and a wide choice of big box stores; 20 min. from downtown Brevard with its Music Center and summer festival; and 35 min. from downtown Asheville with its abundant options for dining and entertainment. A full size Ingles Grocery store is 8 min. away in Etowah. The Asheville regional airport is a short drive of 20 min.

Within 45 min. one can drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, hike, and cool off at Sliding Rock in the Pisgah National Forest, and bike in the Dupont State Forest and Biltmore Estate. A little further is the Green River for kayaking and tubing, Mt. Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi, Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Park. There are over 200 waterfalls in the area.

Exceptional property in every respect. Large modern home with everything you could possibly need for a weekend or longer term stay. Particularly enjoyed the huge screened in porch for coffee in the morning, occasional naps in the afternoon and happy hour in the evening. Also appreciated the upgraded grill which we used multiple times. Pickleball, tennis, pool and fitness center were only a 5 minute walk away and was where we met many of our neighbors. This property is perfectly situated and made a great jumping off point for wandering into HVL or field trips to spectacular waterfall hikes, AVL and Brevard. Only 15-20 min away from some of the best trout fishing in NC. Our hostess, Diane, couldn't have been any more gracious and responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Thank you again! We will be back!

Fabulous place

We had the best time at Cummings Cove. The house is beautiful and much bigger than expected. The outdoor deck was our go to place. Numerous afternoon naps took place there. The appointments were excellent and we loved the summer weather, the golf, and the great Hendersonville restaurants.
