"This has been my best hotel experience in MS so far. I thought the hotel was new when I walked in because the lobby not only smelled clean, it was! Sometimes places just douse bleach around to give the impression of being clean. Not this place. When I asked the helpful and friendly front desk attendant how long the hotel had been open, he said, “It’s about 20 years old, we just take pride in maintaining it.” The room was a bit “dated” in color scheme; however, it was quiet and truly clean. There was not even a hint of mold in the tub and shower. That’s impressive for a humid state! The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. There were at least two attendants keeping the tables and buffet clean and well stocked. There were eggs, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, juice, and even chocolate milk. I’m not remembering all of the items, but I think even picky eaters could have found plenty for breakfast on this buffet. This hotel is just a short drive outside of Jackson, but worth any additional travel time. I highly recommend this property!"
