Check in was good, friendly staff. However the room was ok, but the bathroom was a a bit tired and had a damp smell, probably due to the shower curtain! We were given a far superior room the last time we stayed, so a bit disappointed not to have been in the main building.It was our Wedding Anniversary so it was a bit disappointing. We got use of the SPA facilities so that was nice. Food and Drink was rather expensive, but I think that's expected in a four star establishment.

We had an amazing stay at the Dalmahoy. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful. All around service is top notch and the restaurants provide nice options from casual to fine dining.

Wow what and amazing place, the castle but also the modern rooms the comfy comfy beds best pillows space to lounge around in your room. But also all arouns the hotel. The pool, wet and dry sauna. I am definitely coming back and i dont wven play golf.

I only usually provide productive and positive feedback but as quite an extensive traveller I did not enjoy my stay here. Thankfully was only was night. The room was very clean but so clinical, nothing homely or warm to enhance my stay and I couldn’t wait to leave. Toiletries attached to the wall were far away from where was useful, the bathroom door slammed shut with no hinge to soften the blow, other bathroom doors in the hotel could be heard throughout the night, no mobile coverage in the - 2 basement floor which nowadays isn’t right. The hotel was a maze of a place and not for anyone with mobility issues or claustrophobic. The map provided didn’t indicate the many levels of the hotel. As one staff member confirmed- it’s built like the game Jenga. The staff were the saving grace and I appreciated the support and attention of them all. Thank you. I had a quick nachos meal being the only gluten free option of the bar menu and as I didn’t want to have to try and navigate my way around the hotel to find any other restaurant it was very nice.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The customer service was excellent. We traveled with our two kids and having access to a pool was amazing after long days of walking. The breakfast was excellent and the views from the restaurant were amazing as well. Would definitely stay their again
