Needs refurbished

The hotel is in desperate need of a refurbished, or to be demolished, as it looks more like a dilapidated old folks home with threadbare floral carpets, damaged furniture, antique bathrooms , dust hanging from the roof….the list goes on. The grounds need to be looked at as full of dead plants, filthy slabs, dead leaves and cigarette ends gathered. Reception staff need a customer service course as all came across as if they didn’t want to be there.

The whole place was dated, and the decor was tired. But they seem to be upgrading the place room, by room..pay a bit extra and get one of the newer rooms. It was quiet and the staff were delightful

The staff really make this place. We stayed 3 nights. The breakfast and dinners were good. Room was quiet and comfortable. Only issue was the stairs, no lift. But overall really good stay.

Lovely Hotel

Just back from a lovely girls weekend away, Lovely hotel, rooms clean and spacious beds very comfortable, all hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and a variety for all. Short walk away from Livingston mall so didn’t need car. Will definitely be back
