Staff wasn't very helpful. I picked pay at hotel. Apparently they tried to charge my card prior to check in and when it didn't go through they canceled my room without calling me. I got an email notification stating it was canceled and i when i called to inquire i was told my card did not go through. They should not have attempted to charge the card if i picked pay at hotel

We were three people in our room. We called for a 3rd face towel and were told there were none available. Not so much as an offer to bring one later when one could be available. The a/c was "okay", but it did not really cool off room. Lastly, there were so many people in the lobby in the morning, we waited in line just to get coffee. There was were bananas, apples, and toast available with a few packaged pastries. Most of all, the face towel to shower with would have been nice!

My stay at Microtel was great. For many years I had doubt about staying at one of these hotels. But, the first great impression was the beautifully decorated lobby full of Christmas decorations and scents. The desk clerk at my check-in on Friday was Super happy to assist me and she was full of Christmas joy. My room was very clean and comfortable. Although it is located very close to the Interstate, several restaurants, and stores; the area is very quiet and relaxing. I give this hotel a 10+ rating!
