We checked in and was told that first thru third floors did not have tv. They had a storm the week before that knocked out the satellite. Fourth floor had working tvs. Otherwise, property was good.

When we checked in the employee behind the counter said- the TV is not working in the room, is that ok? When I told her no, she offered a 15% discount. She asked another employee to put in the discount. She said she was unable to do that. I asked if there was another room, she said no. She said I could call another hotel and stay there. It was 9:30 at night when we checked in and I was not going to call for another hotel. In the elevator, another guest explained that the hotel had been hit by lightning and all Wi-fi was out on floors 1 through 3. But somehow the Wi-fi was working in the lobby. When we got to the room, It was very damp and cold. We though the carpet was wet- but it was damp from bad condensation in the room. The man mopping the lobby area looked intoxicated. The only high point of the stay was the breakfast was good. We checked in at 9:30 on a Friday and checked out at 6:00 am on Sunday. And didn't have Wi-fi or TV the entire time.

Female at check in was negative. On the afternoon of the 2nd day I requested that the room be cleaned. She was very short stating housekeeping had already left & said there was a note on the bathroom mirror stating they only clean every 3rd day. I looked on the mirror & there was no such note. We were in a handicapped unit. The facilities were nice, but the seat in the shower was loose from the wall & missing some rubber feet on the legs that touch the tub. The coffee maker did not work, but maintenance did bring a new Keurig & made sure it worked. He was very helpful and pleasant. The TV did not work the whole time we were there -3 days. We were told lightning had struck the box - but I feel like there was more to it. It doesn’t take 3 days to get repairs done. Some of the rooms did have service. Breakfast was very good.
