Built in 1884 and thoughtfully renovated in 2022, this historic inn features 9 cozy guest rooms, carriage house, stone patios, a cocktail bar, and renowned fine dining—all in a tranquil, off-the-beaten-path setting.

Open 10 months a year, the Crocker House is ideal for travelers seeking a quiet retreat surrounded by nature. Explore the best of DownEast Maine with nearby hiking, cycling, kayaking, wildlife watching, and boat tours. Located just a short walk to the water, the inn is bordered on three sides by the Skillings River and Frenchman Bay—with all roads on Hancock Point leading to the ocean. Guest moorings are available for boaters.

Best known for its elevated cuisine, the Crocker House serves a gourmet breakfast daily (exclusive to inn guests) and opens to the public for dinner on weekends with reservations. Enjoy handcrafted entrees, house-made bread, soups, and desserts from our newly expanded 2022 kitchen. Dine in one of two intimate dining rooms or enjoy cocktails and appetizers outdoors on the stone patio, weather permitting.
