This is a beautiful, very quiet, cozy place to stay. The view of the lake is breathtaking. A new company has taken over and friends we traveled with said there were already notable improvements. One thing that was really lacking was the reservation system. We called and left messages but no one ever returned them. We went online and filled out the reservation info, and got confirmation that we had a room. It was stated that 3 days before check in, more info would be emailed to us. Nothing ever came, so I tried calling again. Still no answer and no return phone call. We left home and drove 4 hours not really knowing for sure if we had a place to stay. We knew our cabin numbers but the entry code had never been emailed, so we couldn't get in our rooms. Finally someone arrived at the office and gave us our codes. These are cabins/cottages, not 5 star hotel rooms, so don't go expecting that. They are very basic rooms at great prices. Once we got through the whole reservation mess, we were very happy with our rooms, had a lovely time, and will gladly return. Oh, and by the way, even if you don't stay there, but are in the area, stop in at their restaurant. TOP NOTCH!
