Awful beds. Loud noise from outside. Dirty towels and toilet. Very depressing area of the city. Should have spent a bit more and had a proper nights sleep. Okay facilities- good for a young crowd.

Super hotel for a low price! Central, close to the s-bane, helpful staff. Not much in the area, but that didn’t matter since it was easy to get to public transport.

Friendly staff and good for families.

Very well-suited for families with not too small children. Not super fancy, but everything you need when visiting Hamburg. Super friendly and accommodating staff.

Our stay at a&o hostel was excellent. It would be good if a kitchen with facilities was available so you can prepare your own meals and dinner available. This is based on our experience at a&o Hostel in Sydhaven, Coppenhagen.

The room was ok and clean. The rest of the building was a little run down. Small and slow elevator, felt dirty. The breakfast was ok and the breakfast area looked clean.

Hostel with hotel quality

Second time i stayed here. It has everything you need, clean room, basic bathroom , fast check in and out, close to the metro and walking distance to the train station, the place is huge ,location not very pretty but hey ,I don’t complain. We paid around half the money compared to other hotels. Will def.come again.
