"Best value of money for a hotel in Dhaka. The staff were super helpful, the neighborhood was unusually calm, and the hotel location is close to the hotspots. However, I didn’t use the gym and the pool was not well maintained. Moreover, the room used a split AC unit and is pretty average in cleanliness, nevertheless it’s worth what you are paying for it. Lastly, the business lounge is useful for meetings and the reception is helpful in arranging pickups and drop offs for the airport."

"We checked in around 9pm and were surprised that we had to wait while they cleaned the room. The room was large but felt a bit outdated. There were not a lot of breakfast options, but the quality of the food was goid enough and the service was very friendly. We reserved a toom here after staying at The Way in Dhaka to compare the two. Given the similar price points, The Way offered superior service and quality and had no mosquitos, which was a big plus in dengue season. Overall, Lakeshore is a nice hotel, but would not be my first choice."
