Looking for an very nice, upscale home to house a large group of people but you'd like to save a few dollars in the deal? This wonderful duplex has 6 bedrooms and 7 baths on each side. Want more? How about great internet on a wifi mesh network? An EXTRA fridge for all those shrimp and beach beverages? Easy beach access and a great price point. What's not to love?

Book our Casa Playa, East and Casa Playa, West listings for the individual units. Note, there IS a connecting door between the two sides in the living room areas. Like a connecting hotel room, it can be opened if guests rent both sides.

ALL bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with combo shower/tubs. The 2nd Floor LR and Bonus QSS use a common bath separate from that level's bedroom.

BEACH ACCESS
Casa Playa is located on the north side of West Beach Boulevard, directly across the street from the beach and you can see the beach! You have beach access at the 12th (3 mins, < .1 mile!) and 13th street public beaches, PLUS a large pool private to just the guests of Casa Playa. We aren't talking about blocks to reach the beach, it's right across the street, .1 miles to the west!

POOL? You bet!
BIG outdoor pool (shared only between the two sides). 30x18x3-5' rectangular bit of bliss!

PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 6 cars per side. More if you park under then home and stack carefully. Just share nice with the neighbors!

WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!

SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

This property was awesome! Great location. Beach access is not a far walk! Private pool was nice to have! Check in process was super easy and the owners answered all my questions anytime I messaged! Our trip was just adults this time but would be a definite good fit for a family trip! Our neighbors were even great and we all made friends!

Close to the beach!!!

We rented both sides of the house for our big group. It was nice having two kitchens & dinning areas to cook & eat at. It was really nice that every room had their own bathroom for such a large group. Everyone really enjoyed staying here. It was close to the beach,lots of room, peaceful, quiet place. We were at the beach everyday even for the time of year we were down there. Thanks for having such wonderful accommodations for us to stay at.

House had plenty of space for our wedding party. Kitchen was well stocked. Super easy checkout

Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. We did have a problem with the a/c on the top floor but someone was sent right out to take care of it. We could not get one of the dishwashers to work but it wasn't a problem, we just used the other one.

Property was okay. Needed a lot of maintenance work done. Garbage Disposal not working. Handle broken on sliding door. Lock would not work on another. Blind broken on it. Refrige- rator in kitchen working but making loud noise. Door facings to bathrooms in two bedroom were broken. TV service very poor and no guide to tell you what channels were. One TV not working at all. There were not enough towels for each bedroom. Two towels for a bedroom that slept six people doesn't work.

To make it as quick and genuine as possible, the entire process from booking to checking out was handled right. The location of the property was excellent and only a few houses down from beach access. The house was large enough to accommodate everyone in the group. That is key to a successful vacation. Family vacation at the beach

We had a great trip to the beach and family visited from 4 surrounding states. There were some minor requests that I sent in and they were all resolved by the next day. We had no issues with the house, we had lovely duplex neighbors. Plenty of room to spread out and everyone had the ability for alone time if they needed some as well as togetherness time. No complaints for this house.

Family Trip

We rented this property for a muligenerational family trip. The house was large and had plenty of space. The second fridge is a bonus!! Upon check in we discovered the place was not well cleaned. We went out and got our own cleaning supplies. The beach access that is advertised is currently closed, the pool was very cold and then we were forced to evacuate under the governors orders because of a possible hurricane strike. The house management emailed and we had to cut our trip short because of the Mandatory evacuation. We were not offered any type of refund. Instead we were offered future days stay. 24 hours after we left the governor rescinded the order and we were told by the property owners we could come back and we would not get the future night stays we would only get 1 night. We ended up losing thousands of dollars.
