La última vez que uno de nosotros estaba en West Beach, nos encontramos con esta casa en 2175 West Beach Blvd. Estaba en el mercado, ¡y qué lindo! Anteriormente ocupado por el propietario, este encantador 5 dormitorios nunca se ha alquilado antes. ¡Tomamos posesión de la casa el 2 de julio y puedes alquilarla por una canción para este primer verano ya que mi familia la está poniendo en línea para los invitados de mediados de verano de 2019!

La hemos bautizado Blue Heron durante el primer año, porque nos recuerda un poco a esa majestuosa ave costera, además de ver ese azul, ¡y el reflejo del cielo también!

Annual Family Beach Trip

Our family had a wonderful time at the beach and staying in this beautiful property! We loved the upper and the lower decks, the heated pool, and our close proximity to the beach! This is definitely a property we will consider again!

Good property, little pricey. The pipes in the showers upstairs had a whistling noise when in use. Also, could use dishtowels and potholders in the kitchen-only one dishtowel was there. No show stoppers, just would be good to look into.

Great location

Lots of room. Extra frig is a must with families. Loved that. Huge space for everyone to have a spot of their own if needed. Pool a bonus for us. Only complaint is the sleeping bottom floor there is no A/C in that room. I get that it would be for kids and they probably wouldn’t care but 18 yr old didn’t care for the hot room. Location is perfect. Away from the busy beach. This beach was always quiet. You can enjoy the view all the time. Management was incredible. Very fast response to any questions I had.

Nice Week on the Gulf

The weather was beautiful 7 out of 9 days! One massive storm that was not too fun. Sand blew from all over and into the pool. One call to the management company and it was taken care of - they were really great. Extremely pleasant! Just like most rentals - some quirks but overall the 6 of us had a great time. A little shore fishing - swimming - sunning and chilling! No problem with beds whatsoever! Very comfortable.

Good stay at the BH

Nice house. Good size rooms. Clean upon arrival and appliances in working order. Beach is nice in this location with tons of shells for the kids to sift through. There is a kettle grill here, but it wasn't in the listing...we brought our own portable though to use. The pool is probably more of a treat in the summer; we paid extra for the heat but the wind tunneled through under the house that made it too breezy for most days.

Family spring break get away

This property was the perfect size for our family of 16! Plenty of room and great location. The heated pool was perfect for the chillier days. The trash service was great. The only down side we could see was the lack of kitchen supplies. Overall we highly recommend this house if you have a bigger group and want to be right on the beach with a heated pool option. Very kid friendly and would stay there again!

Awesome week

Excellent, well equipped and spacious property. There were 9 of us staying in total but could have easily had 1 more family in there. Kitchen and lounge areas v comfortable and house also big enough for all the bedrooms to feel private. Pool was great and respite from the blazing heat of the early afternoon this time of year. Definitely does not need heating in August. Kitchen has everything you need. There was a Weber charcoal BBQ that we also made use of but this was not officially part of the house - so left from previous guests. If you fancy a break from the secluded beach and ocean on the doorstep - then Gulf Shores down to the Florida border has plenty to do. We also went to Alligator Alley just past Foley which the kids loved. Would 100% recommend...

Excellent beach house

Stayed with kids and grandkids…. loved being right on the beach! Having a shaded pool was great helping keep the kids from sunburn. The best part of the house was the big decks on several levels. We spent most of our time there. Also really appreciated the easy check in and communication with the rental company. We plan to return!

Family Beach Vacation

We loved the house. Check in was simple. We had 7 adults and 7 grandchildren, ages 8 months to 17 years old and we had plenty of room for everyone. The house was right on the beach and the view from the balcony was awesome. We had a minor problem with black ants in the kitchen and laundry room but they sent someone out the next day. Highly recommend!!

Excellent place!!

The setup in the house was wonderful. The rooms with king beds are all large; it was a perfect setup for three families. The pool was great…we paid to have it heated and I would highly suggest paying to heat it. The management company and owners were VERY NICE and attentive. We have stayed at many rentals, and they were the nicest people I have ever dealt with. I would definitely book there again!

The property was very close to gulf shores and grocery stores. It was only a short walk to the beach. You can see that the owners are updating the property. The pool was cold do to the heater not working. It was being replaced after we left. Over all one of my favorite places to stay.

Great Stay and Great Location!

Thank you for allowing us to rent your home. It was our first time in Gulf Shores and we loved it. The location truly can’t be beat. Watching it storm over the ocean was heavenly. The home had just what we needed and we’d definitely stay there again if we get back to GS.

Weekend with the grands!

If you are looking for an incredible house that fits a family with small children...this is the one. It was perfect for a large family with small children. Out kids and grandchildren loved it! We walked out the back door and you were on the beach. The pool was great when coming in tired from the beach. The house flowed well for family dining, Our kids gave it 10 stars! We will be back:)

Family vacation

We had an extended family vacation with our children and parents. The property is in a wonderful location and I would say it was one of the best locations in North America that I have visited. The house was clean and ready for us on our arrival and other than not having a grill there is NOTHING I would change about this property. The balconies are perfect, the beach access is wonderful and we were close to everything the family wanted to do. Having the pool was a must and we never stay at a property that doesn't have the option because even being right on the beach who doesn't like a little night time swim with the family to wind down the day. All things considered I would go a bit later in the spring but, provided this property was available, I would not stay anywhere else in Gulf Shores.

Great location. Great beach. Nice to have the pool as a respite from the sun and beach. Home was eventually quickly cleaned by property management company after a delay. Although, i question how thoroughly it was cleaned as they were in and out of there pretty quickly. Initially, we had poor service from property management company over getting extra towels. Our reservation was not updated for actual amount of people staying in the home and we needed more towels. Simple request, right? Wrong. Took my wife three calls and some choice words regarding the towels before we were told we wouldn't be getting any additional towels and to wash the ones we had. Eventually, they did bring us the additional towels we requested. As I mentioned, the location is great and the homes layout is great too. It is starting to show some wear however. Cabinet knobs broken. Second fridge (which is awesome to have) freezer wont; stay shut. What looks like mold and water damage around all the AC returns on the beach-side of the home. Lack of a grill of any sort at the home is a HUGE bummer when you have a large group.like we did. Overall our trip was great! The home was pretty great. For what we paid for 7 days, I would have expected extra towels to be either in the home already or delivered with no push back from management as well as routine maintenance to be kept up on the home overall. I would also recommend the owner invest in a new mattress for the master bedroom. It looked as if it had been flipped and is now crowned in the middle and very uncomfortable and felt like I would roll out of bed if i wasn't careful.
