Nice place for an inexpensive night in Gulf Shores

The room met our needs. It felt kind of muggy in the room. There was a fair amount of sand on the floor. It was great to have a full-size refrigerator and microwave. The price was right, thank you!

We were only here three nights during Labor Day 2025, but Beachside was perfect for us. Access to the beach, the wonderful swimming pool, restaurants, shopping, etc, all at the hotel or a short walk away. Will I go here again? ABSOLUTELY!!!

Good Experience, but Room for Improvement

My stay was quite good. I lost my key and my debit card during the trip, and the staff was very attentive, understanding, and helped me with everything I needed. Customer service was excellent, and they truly cared about supporting me in that situation. The hotel has a great location, close to the beach, which makes it very convenient. However, there were a couple of things that could be improved: I tried to play some music on the TV but couldn’t, since either the internet or the TV wasn’t working properly. Also, when I moved some heavy furniture in the room while looking for my card, I found a few cockroaches, which was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, the overall experience was positive, and I would definitely come back in the future.

For the price and location, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The beds were very comfortable and the area was fresh! The pool is 5ft with no time limit as far as I could tell. The beach was across the street but it was worth a three-minute drive to get paid parking. I would say this was the best location! In walking distance of everything!! The only cons I could say were that there was no shower curtain, and the TV (although it provided Netflix and Tubi), the menu did not quite fit the screen, and it was a bit laggy. I enjoyed my stay so much that I and went ahead and booked for next year !

Nice hotel just off the beach on the main road. Loved the swimming pool on the third floor overlooking the road, made for a lovely evening sitting area to watch people in traffic go by. Across the street from there was a Bahama Bob’s which offers a lovely happy hour and good food

I like that Beachside resort is across the street from Bahama Bob’s and the beach, plus near Sunliner Diner and various shops. I enjoy the retro aesthetic of the hotel and the rooftop pool but there were many minor maintenance failures and no towel’s available in the poolside towel rack.
